I’d chewed every single one of my fingernails as I talked to Cayce. Guilt racked me with every word I said. Except for the part where I was completely honest. I had really felt as if I were in Heaven at times that night, especially at the end, when he was so tender and caring. But that was the only honest thing I’d said to him.
