Zeke sat in the dark waiting for an opportunity to do something. He’d followed his mate up the hall and saw three gunmen come through a square in the window they had cut out. Ropes and carabiners swayed along the side of the building. f**k. Who knew where they were? He watched the last guy head for the door at the other end of the room. Only one place that led to—the master bedroom. When he heard gunshots coming from the front, he spun around to protect his girl then realized the only good he’d do was get shot himself.
