Aleksandr was used to getting what he wanted. However, he was getting quite bored of it . it was almost as the what he needed was. . . something to spice things up . He sat in his office contemplating. He had accomplished what he had set out to do business wise and he was now at the top of his field; but, what to do next? Something that made him feel alive and challenge him. Life comes easy when one is second in line to the throne. When you add in the fact that he's rich individually and he has one of the most successful companies, the world is really and truly at his fingertips.
Breaking his reverie, his CFO , Mark Taylor , walked into his office. “Alright so what are we doing tonight? I'm always down to party so how about we hit that new club El Diablo?” Aleksandr chuckled, “Of course you are that's all you like to do. If you want so good at Finance I would never hire you.”
He laughed. “Actually if I wasn't your best friend and one of the few people you could trust, you probably would not have hired me anyway." He makes a fair point. We met way back at Oxford university 7 years ago and has been there through alot. He was one of the few people who knew where all the bodies have been buried per se. Really and truly though he had been through so many things with me that would have been scandalous for a prince and he has always had my back. Still, there is no way i would put someone unqualified in charge of my company's finances so he earned that. When I started this company off I did it with my own capital unlike many people thought. My dad, while he is King has always taught us to earn our own because it is something that's could never be taken away from us. So I decided to take his advice and build my Empire from the ground up. I invested all the money I've earned for appearances etc. as well as all of the allowance I have ever gotten . See the thing about being Royal is that every single penny belongs to the crown and the Royal Treasury once it comes from there. So for instance if I was to die everything will go to the crown through my family. By default everything when you die goes to your family and my family is the Royal family. Technically, since they are my family, it wouldn't bother me. However, I would like it to be a choice to me. That I can choose to do whatever I wish to do with it.
“Alek! Hey Aleksandr!” I snapped out of my thoughts to see Mark looking at me concerned. “Are you okay? You seem out of it.” I shook my head. There was just so much going through it at the moment. “You know what Mark? You’re right. Let’s go wild for the night.” I said with a smirk. He looked at me knowingly. “I know that look. You’re gonna match the name of that club tonight.” I laughed. No explanation was needed. He already knew where this was going. Ah yes, Aleksandr. Let’s have fun, I thought to myself. If only I had known how much fun I was about to have.
We pulled up at the club through the back entrance because we didn’t want to draw attention to ourselves and asked the owner if he could be discreet about the fact that we were here until after we left. He seemed so pleased that we were there to begin with that he didn’t mind at all. We made our way into the VIP section and just sat with our drinks enjoying the ambience for a while until Mark spotted a blonde he couldn’t leave alone. I shaked my head. Good grief, it was nice to get out every now and then. As I got up and leaned over the balcony I spotted some copper coloured curls bobbing around to the bar. I'm intrigued. It wasn’t the fake dyed red colour you usually see but the real thing. As she walked to the bar where there was a bit more light I took in the true beauty that was before me. Red hair, gorgeous caramel skin and a body that could bring a man to his knees. I wanted her. Something about the way she was so openly laughing with her friend and the genuine joy on her face just captivated me in an instant. I am staring at her so intensely that it seems as though she almost feels it because she does a little glance around. When her eyes met mine I knew I had to have her tonight if she’d let me.
