Immediately the Queen left the palace of Bami with her army of Demons, the wizards from Afu blamed Kaka for letting her leave for Ikotu without stopping her. "You told me that I'm for peace. The Queen is filled with anger. Her husband and daughter are not save. If I had tried to stop her it might have resulted to her death" said Kaka but the wizards still believed that letting the Queen match to Ikotu with the demons was more dangerous than stopping her in Bami. "Are we going to stay here and wait while she goes to war?" Asked one of the wizards. "I would have said yes to your question but you see, the princess has equally gone to join her father in Ikotu but that won't stop the prince from executing her father. Wise ones, let us not forget what we stand for. We stand for peace. As we ride to Ikotu, we ride for peace" said Kaka and the wizards nodded in understanding. In Ikotu, the prince was standing near the palace executioner, who was swinging his big axe, ready to chop off the head of the king of Bami who was made to kneel before the Prince on the executioner block on the command of his Superior, the prince of Ikotu. The prince sighted the princess of Bami approaching on her horse and asked his soldiers to allow her to pass. The princess passed, reached where the prince was standing and got down. Facing him she said, "if you truly love me like you said, allow my father to live" The prince became angry at her words as he snatched the axe from the executioner and beheaded the king of Bami in front of the princess. The princess was at first shocked and then she wailed uncontrollably. The guards seized her at once and forced her inside the palace. The prince dropped the axe and was about to go in when he heard a strange sound at the gates. He listened carefully. Suddenly the gates came crashing on the ground. The Ikotu soldiers beheld the army of the demons right before them. The prince commanded his army to stand on defence. He looked carefully and was shocked to see the Queen of Bami standing in front of the army of the demons. He equally saw that the wizard who helped the Queen and her daughter escape from the palace of Bami was under the Queen's custody. He knew at once that the Queen had come for revenge and he knew he stood thirty percent chance of defeating her but still he was ready to have this war. The Queen couldn't believe what her eyes was falling upon. Her husband laid there lifelessly and the man who killed him was right there staring at her. She was about to command her army of demons to turn the palace into a sea of blood and flesh before her daughter ran out of the palace holding a knife against herself. "What are you doing?" Screamed her mother. "We don't want more bloodshed mother. Call off your army. Call them off or I will kill myself" threatened the princess. "Why? Your father is dead because of him. Why do you want to protect him?! The Queen asked the princess angrily. "Because we want peace" said the princess. "You speak now like Kaka, the man who couldn't protect you like I instructed him to" said the Queen. "We all were deceived. The wizard is the one to pay for his crimes and you my prince you will have to answer for the crimes of waging war on Bami and beheading my father. What we want is peace and law" said the princess. The prince was actually wondering how the princess was able to break free from the Ikotu soldiers who dragged her inside the palace. He suspected something and he wanted to be sure. He knew that the princess wouldn't be able to hurt him and so he began to move closer to her. The princess stood where she was. Immediately the Prince reached where she was standing, to everybody's surprise, the princess turned to Kaka and immediately grabbed the Prince by the neck and put the knife across his throat. The prince raised his hands in surrender. The soldiers of Ikotu tried to react but Kaka commanded them to lay down their swords or their Prince dies. They all laid down their swords. The Queen was still surprised at what she saw. Inside the palace of Ikotu, the princess was now lying on the ground. It appears that Kaka invincibly entered the palace, kicked the soldiers holding the princess to the dirt and took her looks in order to bring peace to the lands once again. And by so doing, the Prince had no other choice but to surrender. The Queen asked her army to stand down while she approached Kaka. "You v'e done well. We should have him killed" said the Queen. The Prince chuckled and said, "that's a cowardly way to kill me. If Kaka feels he is man enough he should use his physical strength to face me in a single combat. If he wins then my army will be loyally his own but if I win then it will be my right to remain the conqueror and my freedom will be assured. I demand a trial by combat. What do you say?" The Queen looked at Kaka and Kaka looked towards the gates to see the wizards from Afu nodding for him to accept. The prince looked at the wizard who was being held hostage by the demons and he nodded for him too.
