The Queen stood up and the wizard approached her. Holding her hands he said, "you have seen what I saw. The great army from Ikotu heading to your husband's kingdom. They must have reached by now. War must have started by now. Who do you think will win this war? Of course we know that the brave Prince of Ikotu will win. How save are you if I should release you and allow you return to your husband? The war will claim your head. And even if you survive in the war and get captured by the Ikotu soldiers, the famous Prince of Ikotu will still kill you slowly for disappearing with his would be wife, your daughter. He still holds hatred for you and me for sneaking his wife to be out of the palace of Bami when he came for her hand in marriage. Isn't that why this war is about to happen in the first place or already happening? Now you want to go back? The truth is that you can't be safer anywhere but my side. If you stay beside me, i will summon the demons of the earth to fight for us. I will be a king anywhere I go and you will become my Queen. Together I will find your daughter from that evil Kaka or whatever you call him and you will be the Queen of the earth" The Queen was looking at his face. **** In the palace of Bami, the battle had begun. The soldiers of Bami were fighting without hope and the prince of Ikotu wasn't seeing the battle enough challenging. He was killing Bami soldiers as if he was playing while his father, the king of Ikotu remained in the palace cell of Ikotu. **** In the forest, Kaka stopped walking and the princess asked him what the problem was. He turned and said to the princess, " I think we should go to the palace of your father. He needs us. As long as you are safe, it is enough reason for us to quit and go to Bami" "Quit and go to Bami? What about my mother?" The princess asked, eager for an answer. Kaka looked at the wizards faces and they shook their heads. "What is it?" The princess asked Kaka. Kaka held her shoulders and said, "it is too late. Your mother is... "My mother is what?" The princess asked anxiously. **** Inside that same forest, the Queen had willingly subjected herself to the wizard. She changed her mind about everything she believed in. If her daughter will be safe and she too will be safe and still retain her position as a Queen she believed it was still a good decision to respond the affections the wizard had for her. She kept kissing him passionately as the wizard knew he had finally won her heart. When Kaka, the princess and the wizards from Afu got to Bami, they saw only dead soldiers of Bami scattered in the palace and the fields. When they entered the palace they saw that the throne room was filled with dead bodies. But they couldn't find the dead body of the king. Kaka saw a letter placed on the throne and read, "if you want your king, come to Ikotu and bring my princess with you" that was the handwriting of the prince of Ikotu. The princess snatched the letter from him and read it. "He has my father and I still I can't understand what you are saying about my mother" the princess dropped the letter and ran outside to cry. While outside she suddenly stood up, cleaned her tears and decided to end it all. She decided to go to Ikotu and submit herself to the prince. On the route to Ikotu, the brave Prince was riding back home with the king of Bami tied to his horse. As he was being dragged on the ground. He was dying and in his heart he still prayed to his ancestors to reveal their strength. Inside the forest of Afu, the wizard removed his hands from the Queen and said to her, "whatever you see or hear do not say a word" the Queen nodded and the Wizard gave her his back, knelt down, sprayed his hands and closed his eyes. The Queen watched him and suddenly there was rustling and then the wind became more intense. The Queen saw as ugly looking men and women escaped from the clouds and winds in their thousands and began to approach the wizard. Before long the demons; men and women in their hundreds of thousands rounded the Queen and the Wizard up. The Wizard was still kneeling when one of the demons asked, "who do we serve?" Queen squeezed her face on hearing this. She slowly looked at the wizard where he knelt, turned to the demons and said, "Me. You serve me" The Wizard jumped up immediately in anger and seized the Queen by the throat but the demons rescued the Queen from him and held the wizard down to the ground. "Should we kill him?" Asked one of the demons. "No. Don't kill him. He will have to suffer before he die" said the Queen. "What have you done?" I warned you not to say a word!!!" Shouted the wizard from where he was held on the ground. "You think I'm a fool? I love my husband. I love my Kingdom" said the Queen before she turned to the demons and said, "we are going to Bami" The princess of Bami escaped from the palace with one of the fastest horses remaining in the palace and rode through the rough road to Ikotu. Kaka was seen entering the shrine room of where the symbol of strength was hanging on the wall. He stood facing the symbol. He knelt before it and said, "I'm yet to understand how you operate. All I know is that you are in me but why make me so soft too. You gave me this power to protect your people but why can't I find the need within me to kill my enemies with it? Why make me so powerful yet so reasonable and soft?" Kaka cried. One of the wizards from Afu was standing at the door and watching him. He said, "ancestors seek for peace. They encourage strength and peace. You will have to find the purpose of the strength they bestowed on you but know it that they do not encourage war or death but peace. That is why you can't use it to hurt people" Just then another wizard entered and said, "we have a problem. The princess left the palace and from the south, heading to this very palace are the ancient evil, led by a woman" Kaka stood up "how come we did not feel their presence?" He asked. "Maybe because the woman leading them is not coming for war. Maybe she is coming home" said another wizard. Outside the gates of Bami, the Queen who looked angry because of the destruction she was seeing in her husband's home stood with hundreds of thousands of demons and rang the big bell at the gates. Inside the palace, Kaka couldn't believe what he just heard. "I saw her clearly. It is the Queen" said one of the wizards. They all left the throne room to meet the Queen outside the gates. They saw that she was now holding the wizard who abducted her hostage. She spoke. "You look healthy Kaka. Don't ask me what happened cause a lot happened. But I'm fine and this is my army. You know why I had to make sure I come home. My husband lost the battle but not the war. I want to make sure my daughter and husband are safe" "Your husband was taken hostage by the Prince of Ikotu. But your daughter... Kaka was saying. "What happened to my daughter? I left her in your care. I warned you not to return to Bami with her. Not now" the Queen waited for him to speak before she continued, " It is obvious she has gone to Ikotu, hoping that submitting herself to the Prince will liberate her father. I'm done begging men and acting the victim. This time, the prince of Ikotu will pay with his entire kingdom" "We don't need bloodshed. There has been enough of it already and all for what? Said Kaka. "which side are you on Kaka? Looked like you v'e grown powerful too. Tell me which side you are on. My side? The Prince's side or your side?" "I'm on the side of peace" said Kaka. "That means you are on your own side" said the Queen before she said to her army, "we are heading to Ikotu" The Queen stood up and the wizard approached her.
