Adola and Yama remained in the cells of the Koxians until it was time for them to be used for the ritual cleansing by the valley people. They were dragged out and tied on the stake. Adola kept struggling but Yama remained calm. The chief priest of the valley people was already making some incantations when a shrill noise began to emanate from the nearby camp where the valley people were nesting. Someone had come and into the camp and this person could not be harmed by the valley people and the valley people were being killed by the person. The valley person that came to give the elders of the valley people who were present at the ceremony of the ritual cleansing about the stranger killer, described the person's look and Yama and Adola knew at once whom that was.
