I awoke to sunlight beaming on my face, through the bedroom windows. I could see the redness of the sunlight through my eyelids, but I could not open them...
I felt as if I had been hit by a train... Every muscle in my body ached, there did not seem to be even one part of me that did not hurt. I felt an overwhelming amount of soreness and fatigue.
I forced my eyelids open and noticed my head was lying on a soft pillow. I reached my hand out in front of me slowly, running it along the smooth dark brown sheets I appeared to be resting on...
I did not know where I was..
“Aria? Do you know where we are? What happened?” I waited a moment for Aria to say something, but there was no response.
“Aria?”.... Silence... Something must be wrong with me...
I attempted to lift my body up
