"You're not room service. unless room service now comes in heels." I froze. The low, chuckling voice was unmistakably male. My keycard had to have worked. I was sure of it. "I—I think I'm in the wrong room," I stammered, my eyes wide as I took in the towel wrapped tightly around his waist. “You think?” He arched a brow, stepping out of the steamy bathroom, droplets still clinging to his chest. Heat crawled up my neck. “Sorry! They gave me this key at the desk—Room 408.” He smirked, tossing a second towel over his shoulder. “Well, sweetheart, I’ve been in Room 408 all week.” I went up to the door, pushing buttons to unlock it — nothing. A red light pulsed. I tried again. Nothing. My heart dropped. "The lock's not working." His grin vanished. He stepped forward, attempted it himself, and let out a low sigh. "Power glitch. The smart locks malfunction when the generator is activated. You might be stuck." Stuck. With a half-naked stranger. In his room. I backed up, trying to keep my distance. “I’ll call the front desk.” “No signal. And the landline’s dead — lucky us.” I sat at the edge of the sofa, hugging my handbag like a lifeline. He watched me quietly, then walked to the mini fridge. “Wine?” I shook my head, but he poured two glasses anyway. “I’m Aiden,” he said, handing me one. I took it, because refusing felt rude. “Elena.” We toasted. I abstained. He did. Then sat beside me. A little too close. "Tell me, Elena. ever been trapped with temptation before?" getSession
