Elizabeth and Sato were in the same classes, but they barely interacted with each other. Elizabeth kept to herself, while Sato was always surrounded by friends. They sat on opposite sides of the classroom and barely exchanged any words.
Elizabeth tried to ignore Sato during class, but she couldn't help stealing glances at him every once in a while. She noticed how he always laughed with his friends and how his eyes would sparkle whenever he talked about something he was passionate about. She couldn't deny that there was something about him that drew her in.
Sato, on the other hand, couldn't stop thinking about Elizabeth. He found her intriguing and mysterious. He wanted to know more about her and why she seemed so guarded.
One day, during lunch break, Sato approached Elizabeth's table.
"Hey, do you mind if I sit here?" he asked.
Elizabeth looked up at him, surprised. "Sure," she said softly.
Sato sat down and started to talk to Elizabeth. At first, she was hesitant and guarded, but as they started to talk, she slowly opened up. They talked about their hobbies and interests, and Elizabeth started to feel more comfortable around Sato.
As the days passed, Elizabeth and Sato started to talk more and more. They would share notes during class and help each other with homework. They started to form a connection, and Elizabeth couldn't deny that she was starting to like Sato more and more.
