Scarlett's POV

I felt disgusted as I look at the monster that kept eating the human meat. I just hope I don't throw up my lunch. Blood was everywhere. Literally. This is the same scene in horror movie when the main character finally found his friend in the cemetery but he was too late because his friend died and he will be the next victim. This scene is quite gruesome. Lucky for me because I'm used to this kind of situation.

I sat on the rock at the edge of the cemetery. Tonight, was a full moon so I didn't really need any light to see the scene in front of me.

"Having fun eating the human?" I said. My deep red cloak and scythe look more sinister and glowing under the full moon ray.

The monster turned it's head to me. It has big round body almost look like it bloated. His skin looks sickening red with half of its body was covered with the victim's blood. His eyes are black, there no pupil. Yeah, it's kind of disturbing. His razor-sharp teeth on display, I swear I saw some meat chunk between his teeth.

The mist in the cemetery made me feel cool and refreshed at the same time. The smell of the metallic blood and earth infiltrate my nostrils. Slowly I start to stand up and walk closer to the monster. My eyes never leaving him.

"Who are you?" The sound of a disembodied voice can be heard throughout the cemetery.

I smirked as I point my scythe at him, "Your worst nightmare".

He laughed and shamelessly looking at my body. He threw the half-eaten arm away maybe a leg but I don't care and don't even want to know.

"You must be from Black Op, right?" I confirm his assumption with a nod. He starts to laugh again. "They think a little girl like you can kill me? What a joke".

I just roll my eyes. Seriously, only because I'm not tall or muscular. They think I'm weak. What a discriminating bastard. I hate that attitude, it makes me pissed the f**k off.

"You know what. This little girl as you put it..." I gesture to myself "...not only will kick your ass but also kill you," I glare at him. I hope my glare can turn him to ashes.

He smirked showing his razor-sharp teeth that were coated with blood. "Bring it on, little girl."

I smirked at myself. I'll make him regret that decision. He would've wished to run away when he had the chance after I'm done with him.

In a flash, I appear in front of it. Shocked clearly showed on it face. Before it can do anything, as I swing my scythe across it's chest. A trail of black blood appears on it's chest trailing to the south. It tried to swipe it razor-sharp claws at me but I dodge by jumping back. In attempt to stop the bleeding it cover it'd chest, "You b***h!!" as it sneered some of its spit fall to the ground.

"I told you earlier didn't I. I'm your worst nightmare. So, prepare to die," I taunt it while giving my most innocent smile.

"I'll kill you b***h!!" it roared and launch itself to me. I c****d my eyebrow. Does it thinks it can kill me? Keep dreaming.

"Yeah, yeah. Keep saying that" I prepare for the attack. By blocking all the claws with my scythe. It was a piece of cake. Even though the scythe was big, it's actually not that heavy. for me at least.

After feeling bored blocking all the attack, I start with my counterattack. I slice it left knee making the monster kneeling in front of me. Before he could attack me again, I cut off both of it's arms. The monster scream in agony while I see it limp arms slide down beside him.

It looks at me in the eyes while asking in a pained voice "Who are you?".

"Why did you keep asking the same question? My Name is Scarlett Drachen, but they call me The Slayer" I smile evilly at him.

It's black eyes became wide when I said my name, "No. It couldn't be".

"Oh, it could be," with that I beheaded it.

It tried to run away. Keyword tried. Before it can move an inch, I cut clean it legs off. Immobilizing it completely. It start to begged for it life. Saying that it will stop killing human and other things but I just turn a deaf ear.

One thing you should know about this monster is, it doesn't matter how many times you cut them into pieces. They will generate themselves. One way to destroy them is by destroying them completely or sending them back to hell.

I took rose petal from the small pouch on my waist "With the power of Crimson Rose, I summoned thee, The Eternal Flame" the atmosphere started to change. "I command thee to burn this monster flesh to ashes till it's bone. Without leaving anything untouched". I pointed the rose petal between my finger in the direction of the monster that starts to regenerate "Burn with thee, mighty flame the things that related this monster to this human realm".

I kiss the rose petal and blow it. The rose petal starts to multiply itself and surround the monster part before it lit to flame. The heat from the flame warms my body on this cool night. I watch as the monster burn. In a minute, the monster becomes ashes. The cool night wind blew the ashes away. Taking a rose petal from the mini bag, I stabbed it at the monster's ashes remaining. I turned around and change myself back to normal before pulling out my phone. If you are wondering about the scythe, it can transform into a hair clip. I start to scroll in the contacts before dialing a number.

"Director Rei speaking. Who is it?" The voice full of authority speaks on the other line.

"It's me".

"I don't know anyone with that name," the voice start to turn playful.

I stare at my phone for a few seconds. Making sure I don't crush the phone yet.

"It's Scar, you old man".

"Hey, I'm not an old man" he huffed. "I just turn 35 last month," he mumbled.

"Yeah, whatever that keeps you asleep at night old man. Anyway, I called you not to have a discussion about that. Just letting you know that I finished my mission so you can send people to clean it up," I said while walking to my bike.

I heard shuffling on the other side. Guess I better get going before someone gets here and see me. "You are so mean Scarlett-chan" Rei whined. "I sent a team to the scene. You better get going if you don't want 'The Slayer' identity to be revealed."

"Like hell, I'll let it happen. Okay, I have to go now" I was about to hang up when I hear him say something about meeting him tomorrow. "Why?".

"Because I have something for you" even without looking at his face directly I know that he is smirking right now. "Don't forget to see me tomorrow".

"Alright. See ya" with that I hang up. I know Rei is planning something. I feel uneasy just thinking about tomorrow.

I put on my helmet before starting the bike. Turning around for the last time to make sure I leave nothing behind. After confirming it, I start my journey back home.

You must be confused right now about this monster I just defeated, right? Let me help you by explaining about those vile creatures. Let's start from the beginning, but to cut it short. Many years ago, a young man opened the gate of hell when he gave his soul to the devil in exchange for a wish. After the gate was opened many hell creatures came to this world. This hell creature can't harm human directly. Have you heard about 'The Seven Deadly Sins'? If not, I'll elaborate it for you.

'The Seven Deadly Sins' consist of seven sins called Lust, Pride, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Gluttony, and Greed. Whoever has been consumed by any of these sins will have a chance to be possessed by hell creature and will possess his/her body.

Since hell creatures don't have physical bodies like humans, it needs help from a medium. In this case, a medium is a person that has his/her heart consumed by one of the sins. The more sins that the heart consumes the darker that person's heart becomes and the more powerful the hell creature becomes.

If the person has been possessed for too long, his/her humanity or in this case his/her human side will slowly die. Finally, leaving a hell creature alone inside the dead body. If you're asking why I killed the monster earlier in cold blood, it's simple. The human inside that body has been long gone. You see if the host body has changed into something that not resemblance human anymore. That is one of the signs that the human side has died.

If that ever happens there is no chance for the human to change back to normal. Dealing with the hell creature is my job as an agent from Black Op. My name is Scarlett code name 'The Slayer'.

The world is not safe as it used to be after the hell gate being open. With the Black Op dealing with the hell creatures, the world for now is safe from the conquer of the hell creatures but we still have to be careful. Just in case.

45 minutes of the ride, I'm finally back at the apartment complex. It's not shabby nor luxury but I feel content with it. It's my sanctuary from this world. The apartment has a living room, 1 guest room, 1 master bedroom, bathroom with a tub and shower, a big kitchen and lastly, it has a balcony where I can view the night sky. It's quite suitable for me.

After putting the keys in the bowl, I head to the kitchen and got a bag of caramel popcorn before putting it in the microwave. A few minutes later my popcorn is done. Taking a bowl from the cabinet, I pour the popcorn into the bowl and head back to the living room to watch some movies.

While watching the movie in my mind I kept thinking about the scenario that will unfold tomorrow. I know Rei is up to something. But what? Let just hope that it not as bad as my imagination.
