Chapter 06

KEV POV

I was impatiently waiting in the cafeteria, expecting the presence of my brother and our mate. I missed them in this period. 

“Hey, bro”

I come to real sense because of Ke’s voice. I turn my head with the expectation of seeing my brother and our beautiful mate. But there was only my brother. 

“She went to washroom, and she is still angry with us.”

He said while sitting in front of me.

“She really is a feisty one Ke. I’m really glad we got her back to ourselves.”

I replied to him while past moments flood through my mind.

From our birth, I and Ke was bonded together with an unexplainable way. Our feelings are mutual. If he is sad I also feel sad. If I’m angry, he also feels the same, and so on. Although, Nuri was younger to us only by few minutes, from childhood both of us want to make her happy and cherish her. She behaves with us. the same way, till that manipulating b***h Ishi come into our life. After Nuri, begins to keep herself away from us, at first both of us were devasted. 

Our parents explained to us that, one day she will have her own mate to protect and cherish her, and we also will have our mate to protect and cherish. Although, at the beginning we were adamant to keep her near ourselves, with she constantly rejects us we decide to leave her to be alone and wait for our mate.

But, when we come to know about Ishi being our future mate both of us were beyond happy. Our Nuri is the best mate that anyone can get and both me and Ke are lucky to have her as ours. 

When we heard Ishi trying to hurt her and our kingdoms, all we want to do was destroyed that b***h. But, as our grandma explained to us, if we kill her before our 18th birthday, her soul will be escaped to another body with the goal of destroying us. To eliminate her evilness from the universe, we should wait till she is 18 and her core black magic to rise. Then, me, ke and Nuri together at the same time has to attack her with our powers.

My deep thoughts were disturbed by the sudden wave of anger ran through me. I and Ke gaze at each other and hint of realization ran through our minds. 

This feeling is Nuri’s. Although, we are not eighteen yet, and we can’t feel the mate pull fully, after spending previous month together with her, we can feel her deep emotions within ourselves, and she also feels our deep emotions.

Nuri is getting angry at each passing second. 

“We have to search for her Kev. I think she is with Ishi. We have to find her before she does some stupid thing that can hurt herself and disturbed our plans.”

Ke stands while saying that and ran towards the women washroom.

At the moment we open the door of washroom, Nuri gives a tight slap to Ishi. Nuri is shivering with anger.

I have to stop her from doing any other thing, that can cause a harm to her life. But, before I intervene to the situation, Nuri’s eyes gaze at us and reveal ran through her eyes.

“Oh! Ke and Kev? When did you come here? She was talking nonsense about our family and I wasn’t able to stop myself from slapping her.”

Oh! It seems like she is trying to indicate that, she slaps Ishi because of our presence and to protect Ishi from our harming.

‘Clever little thing of ours!’

I look at my brother with a proud smirk while he also gazes at me with same expression.

“OH! It’s good that you punish her, if not we would do it ourselves. We’ll give you a minute to settle the things. We’ll wait for you at outside."

After giving a wink towards Nuri, Ke turns and walk out of the door. After giving encouraging smile towards Nuri, I also walk behind Ke. Both of us stands the other side of the door to listen the conversation of Ishi and Nuri.

“I’m sorry Ishi, they suddenly come in, and I have to do something to protect you from their wrath. So, I had to slap you.”

Nuri’s sugar coating voice cause to broaden the smiles of our lips.

‘She really is a good actress.’ 

“I was startled with the slap. But, as soon I sense their presence, I understand your intention. It’s okay Nuri. I know, you did it to protect me from those two devils.”

“Oh! I have to go out now before they come in again. Be careful with yourself Ishi.”

After a few seconds she comes out and grab me for an intense lip lock while I move ourselves to a deserted corridor. 

As soon as I release her lips for oxygen, Ke grab her for a kiss.

‘This is our life. Three of us together with our family, we’re going to overcome the all the problems’

I determined to myself while gazing at my brother and our mate who is engaging in an intense kiss.
