I finally finished unpacking all my clothes and toiletries in my en-suite and I am thinking about how I am going to survive here with the Hardy twins. When Tiff walks into my room and lands on my bed. "hey , i could have been naked!" I exclaimed to her. Tiff rolls her eyes "please" she says "I have seen you naked and you know it." I sat down on the bed next to her. Tiff sits up and says "just came to let you know that my parents want to take us out for dinner to celebrate us arriving and after back here for game night." i raise an eyebrow at the last part of that statement "Game night?" I ask. "Yeah it's a hardy family tradition when we all get back together we have game night, we play pictionary and some other games, i know it sounds so cheesy and lame." she rambles on. "That sounds like fun Tiff and i have never played pictionary so will you help me.'' I say. "YOU NEVER PLAYED PICTIONARY?" she screamed. I looked at the floor and mumbled "
well yeah Tiff not much call for it in my numerous foster homes." Her eyes widened and she said ''oh my god Lex i am so sorry i didn't think about that, do you forgive me and still love me?" She gives me her best puppy eyes. I push her off the bed and giggle as she falls onto the floor "of course i do you're my bestie and i will always love you. Now get up and help me decide what to wear." I state as I pull her off the floor. She runs straight into the closet and decides on a baby blue dress and white cardigan as well as wedge sandals. "This will look amazing on you." she states and as she walks out the door she told me we were leaving in 2 hours. I head straight for a shower.
After what can only be the best shower of my life I blow dry and straighten my hair, I put mascara and sparkly lip gloss I pull my dress on and I am just trying to do up the buckle on my wedge sandals when there is a knock on my door. "Come in," I shout. Dylan stands in the doorway "hey Alexis we are all ready to go," I look up at him and say" i am just falling out with this buckle it is being difficult." He walks into the room and kneels in front of me. "May I?" he asks. I nod my head and he takes my foot into his lap and gets the buckle done up. He looks up at me "all done." he says as he eases my ankle off his lap. I feel myself get a slight blush. He stands up and holds out his hand for me to take. As he helps me up he leans into me and whispers "you look amazing." I gulp and drop my gaze to the floor. Dylan puts his hand under my chin in a move this brother did when I dropped my gaze before he made me look into his eyes. "Never look down sweetheart, I wouldn't be able to see your beautiful green eyes if you stare at the ground." I gulp and of course i blush "ok Dylan i will try, now are you going to let me leave this room so we can eat?" I ask. He chuckles "of course lead the way Miss Alexis." As I walk past him I find some courage from somewhere and say "My name is Lexi, if you want me to answer I expect you to remember that." Then I wink at him. His jaw dropped. I walk down the hall with Dylan behind me and i make sure i wiggle my ass as i walk i have no idea where this confidence came from but i was loving it.
