Third Person That night had never felt so cold. Alpha Kael walked through the quiet hallway, his steps barely echoing. Guards bowed. The kingdom was asleep, but he couldn’t sleep. As he reached the door, his hand held the knob for a minute longer as he listened to her heartbeat.
