PREFACE
My university life comes with certain challenges that I have to encounter somehow. It is not rhetorical that this novel is a lifelong work ever. Apparently, I have not majored in Literature, but there were some mystical feelings encouraging me to write down anything at some point. “The Darkest Days” accidentally appeared in my mind when I suffered from depression and anxiety disorder. By the time I was conducting a research, it was inexplicable to say what incentives came to my intrinsic power. Whilst reading this novel, you can witness my fictional version in it. Time passed by, everything seems chaotic when we no longer linked our internal potential to external one. I do not intend to popularize my ideology – realism, to any single person. However, “The Darkest Days” itself reflected the deepest facets of the contemporary society – injustice, ambition, seduction, and violence. Life does not portray an impeccable image for anyone, it is about facing destiny, and fate. Sincerely, I am not an actual novelist. The thing is letting my train of thoughts be free, like a mysterious stream flowing down tenderly, I supposed. What you are going to read is not totally harrowing, yet somewhat painful and melancholic.
