Cassandra’s POV
I couldn’t wait for the healer I cured to return, so I begged Richard and Elena to give me a call when he finally came back. There was no need to call Adrian to come and pick me up. I thought he might be busy with other activities in the pack. So I decided to find my way home. I ended up booking a cab which carried me straight to the house.
When I got home, I didn’t see Adrian’s car parked outside. He must have gone somewhere. “Oh s**t! I forgot to buy my boys some toys.”
I noticed they like playing with toys, so I made it a habit of mine to buy toys whenever I traveled a distance to work. I knew they would be expecting something new because they must have noticed I traveled a lot despite their young age.
I couldn’t go back to get the toys for them, so I went ahead
