I throttle them until we finally reach the market. At the end of the market, there is a gate with a checkpoint. I remind myself to be gentle since we are in another man's land. Just as I am reminding myself, Gabriel seems to be issuing me a warning with his eyes. I scoff and come down from my horse. They open my bag and practically ransack it, turning all my materials upside down. I just keep observing, watching everybody around me. They finish searching it and they zip it back up carelessly. I narrow my eyes at the stupid guard and pick up my bag. They do the same to Gabriel, Glen, and Flinch. Flinch is more aggressive than even me, his Alpha. I have to keep my eyes on him steadily to keep his character in check. He notices it and behaves.
