Cassandra's POV
On hearing this, I quickly ran outside my room, not minding my babies. “Where are they?” My voice echoed in the house. They went to the pack hall,” one of Adrian’s men replied. The hall was not too far from the main house, thoughts of going back to carry my children came through my head, but I ignored them. There was no point carrying them since it’s not far, and I want the healer to start his job with my son.
On getting to the hall, I saw Adrian first and Mother sitting beside him. All the council members were seated too, including the healers. “Mother!” The sound of my voice echoed in the hall, causing everyone to look at the direction I was standing.
I stood at the entrance of the door, Adrian’s men were everywhere forming a wall round the hall.
