Alpha Leon's Pov
My men and I gather at the town square. Don, my second in command, is the one to rule in my absence. The council to guide the people while we are away have planted enough spies at the borders of the Pack, to monitor every single movement. My Luna, Emily, is standing beside me, her ears picking every word I say, her eyes grasping every fleeting shadow that passes me.
My next in command, Don, addresses the rest of the Pack members again.
"We do not leave the Pack to adbandone you all but to find Cassandra, daughter of our Alpha and our next Alpha. If by the dawn of evening, we have not returned, our representative will light a bonfire, guide the families to the bonkers and meet us at the border of the Raziel's pack. The bonfire signifies war."
