After the meeting, I made my way towards the Beta's suite on the third floor. I feel a little exhausted, but it’s good to have the Queen here to help us solve the problems facing the pack.
“I am happy they’re here to help, we have been doing a lot on our own”, Afia says.
“Yeah, Alpha Nate has been absorbed by his own problems lately”, I sigh.
As soon as I open the door to my suite, I am welcomed by the warm glow of many flickering candles. I follow a fragrant path of rose petals, and it leads me towards the bathroom. Before I get to the bathroom though, I find Ezra standing in the middle of the living room.
As I catch sight of him, butterflies take flight within my stomach. He smiles at me shyly.
