"Great work. Dismissed!" Ms. Cortez says. It’s beautiful with sunny, bright blue skies minus the oppressive heat. Music was way better today, and marching improved dramatically. I was rushing across the field to leave, but stop dead in my tracks when I’m halfway across. The cheerleaders must have just finished practice, and one of them is talking to Seth. She’s part of the group Seth usually hangs out with, and the body language between them has all the indications of relationship drama.
