Scarlet Soul
Opening Scene – Sam’s Loft, Morning
Dim sunlight filtered through cracked blinds, casting golden stripes across the room. Perry sat on the edge of Sam’s old leather couch, shirtless, his hair damp from the shower. A steaming mug rested in his hand. He wasn’t saying much.
Sam stood by the window, barefoot, sketching him. Not with fantasy—but with pain, realness, and bruised strength.
"You know," she murmured, not looking up, “you look more like a man now than you ever did with those poems.”
Perry gave a faint smile. “I don’t know what I am anymore.”
Sam put down the sketchpad and walked over. She straddled him, eyes serious, lips inches from his.
“You're the kind of man people only notice when he's lost everything.”
She kissed him—longer, deeper than before. This wasn’t flirtation. It was need. For both of them.
Campus Fallout
At Lincoln University, Elena was surrounded by whispers. Some students found out about the poem incident and Perry’s dismissal.
A few even criticized her.
“Isn’t it just poetry?” someone muttered. “He wasn’t even bothering her.”
But Elena was defensive now. “I didn’t ask for it. He crossed a line. He’s a nobody.”
Those words stung—but Perry never heard them.
Meanwhile – Jobless & Homeless
Perry packed up the last of his things from his small rented room. The landlord had evicted him. No rent, no mercy.
He wandered the streets, journal clutched to his chest like a lifeline. Nights were cold now. Lonelier.
Until fate intervened.
Victor Karim – A Dangerous Introduction
It started outside a nightclub. A fight. Loud, sudden, and b****y. A man in a silk blazer—Victor Karim—was being attacked in an alley by two masked men.
Perry, hiding in shadows, didn’t plan to help. But when one attacker pulled a knife, instinct took over.
Perry grabbed a loose metal pipe and struck one of them down. The other ran off.
Victor coughed, b****y and shaken. “You saved my life,” he said through clenched teeth.
Perry didn’t answer.
Victor stared at him. “You got anywhere to be tonight?”
Perry shook his head.
“Then come with me.”
Victor’s World
Victor Karim was a self-made club magnate with rumored ties to underground money laundering, art auctions, and shady politics. But his surface life? Luxury cars, tailored suits, women, and champagne.
He took Perry in—not just out of gratitude, but curiosity.
“You’re strange,” Victor said, handing him a drink. “Silent. But your eyes? They carry cemeteries.”
Perry sipped slowly.
“I don’t talk much.”
“That’s good,” Victor smirked. “You’ll learn fast.”
Sam Finds Out
Sam waited for Perry one night—his bag was still at her place.
But he didn’t return.
The next morning, she saw him in a black shirt and coat, stepping into a luxury car with Victor.
Her heart sank.
He wasn’t the same Perry anymore.
And maybe… he didn’t want to be.
Final Scene – Perry’s Journal
“They burned my soul for loving the wrong way.
Now I love nothing.
And nothing… makes me powerful.”
The camera lingers on Perry’s face in the backseat of Victor’s car, city lights flashing across his skin like lightning over water. A new world awaits.
