Elenita had assigned the family car for the use of the visitors, and Paolo graciously drove Tess and their grandmother about under Lola Josefina’s careful directions. Lola Josefina had been to Cebu several times to visit Lola Polly. She showed them the usual tourist sites: the historic Cebu with the Basilica of Santo Niño, Magellan’s Cross, the Cathedral, Fort San Pedro, as well as the new malls, subdivisions, and a couple of beach resorts.
