Episode 15 Uncovers Conspiracy

Queen Zuriel's politeness won the favor of all the Eunuchs and the Arisai people. Her kindness touches the heart from the least to bottom. Queen Zuriel care a lot for women and children of the palace and she was highly respected.

King Aram did everything to win her heart. Every night they spend more time walking inside the core of the palace. Together with some of King's attendant and Queen's maid servant following wherever they may go.

On Zuriel's room, she was still frozen thinking about Aram, she wish to be always near him, she felt secure in his arms. On the other side of the palace, Aram looking on the ceiling feels his hearbeat fast thinking about Zuriel, he's smiles stays wide, he loves her so much, he will make sure, everything is favorable to her, served her incomparably.

Unable to sleep, King Aram, had few drinks to be able to feel dozy, and picked up some reading, just happened across an account of a good deed Matthan. Matthan, Zuriel's cousin, he never had him honored, No, that could be. Mean, Zattu got it. It wasn't him. He doesn't deserved to be honored. Its a mistake, why didn't anyone informed me. He loss his temper and will make this issue in the right place, he remember the incidents clearly.

Matthan uncovers a Conspiracy. That time he was sitting at the King's gate, Hodaviah and Jahdiel, two of the King's officers who guarded the doorway, became angry and conspired to assassinate King Aram.

But Matthan found out the plot and told Queen Zuriel, whi in turn reported it to the King, giving credit to Matthan.

And when the report was investigated and found to be true, the two officials were hanged in a gallows.

After these events King Aram honored Zattu, elevating him and giving him a seat of honor higher than that of all the other nobles.

All the royal officials at the King's gate knelt down and paid honor to Zattu, for the King had commanded this concerning him. But Matthan would not kneel down or pay him honor. 

Why do you disobey the King's command? I have never disobey the King. Who am I to do that. I am not asking for death. Its the one who deserved it much more.

Day after day they spoke to him about it but he refused to comply. It relied to Zattu about it see whether Matthan's behavior would be tolerated, for he had told them, he was a Lecans.

When Zattu saw that Matthan would not kneel down or pay him honor, he was enraged.

Yet having learned who Matthan's people were, he scorned the idea of killing only Matthan. Instead, Zattu looked for a way to destroy all Matthan's people, the Lecans, throughout the whole Kingdom of Aram.

Zattu gave his instruction to one of his subordinate to look after Matthan's activities around the Citadel and King's gate. He came in once to see Zuriel. Yes, I've seen him came in then speak to Queen Zuriel, have you heard it? No, I haven't, Marshena stop me from entering. That's fine, keep on eyeing him anywhere he goes, you may go. In Matthan's peripheral side view, he saw Zattu's subordinate following him so he led him to the wrong way, instead of going to Zuriel he led him to the servants kitchen and then whisper to one of Zuriel's close maid servant to passed on his message of meeting him at their secret passage.

Matthan, hey, how are you? How's father and mother? Did you visit them? Hey speak! My goodness Zurie, relaxed, are you in rushed. Sit down, will you? She grinned what? You're so serious. He stare at her, you listen carefully, Prime Minister Zattu is keeping an eye on me, I'm sure he is plotting something on me, he has someone following me. You take good care of yourself, be aware of everything around you. Don't trust easily not even your maid servants. Keep watch, you can be his target. In the twelfth year of King Aram, they cast the pur ( that is, the lot ) in the presence of Zattu to select a day and month. And the lot fell on the twelfth month.
