Still resting, I hear the door open and close and assume that it’s just Dima saying that he found Mike, but I had guessed wrong when she had sat in my lap. Still resting my eyes, I roam her lower body and make my way up her dress to find out that she doesn’t have any panties.
“I’m guessing that you want to be f****d like yesterday.”
“Maybe. Maybe not,” Rhea said, climbing off. “Besides. We need to talk.”
“About your contract?” I asked, still eyes closed.
“Yes and no.”
“Yes?”
“At the end of the contract deals with marriage. We never discussed doing this.”
“Yeah. Because it’s fake unless you want a real one.”
“No,” She said, causing me to open my eyes. “Not yet anyway.”
“So you don’t want to help your family,” I asked, watching her walk over to the windows. “Whether it’s fake or not, I’ll give them half of my company.”
“Is that what you told my father?”
“Rhea,” I said, walking over to her. “This is unlike you. You’ve always loved helping your family.”
“I didn’t sign the contract.” She sighed.
“Okay. Then I’ll still protect you.”
“And what? Go against Dima?”
“How-“
“Seth is a friend of mine and I found out that he works for you.”
“Whatever Dima told you, don’t think about it. I want you here,” I said, holding her face. “I need you here.”
“And I can’t stay.” She said, pulling away.
“I’ll deal with Zack and what happened,” I said, holding her. “Just don’t leave.”
“If I stay, I’ll be hurting you.”
“What’s going on, Rhea,” I asked, feeling that she’s holding something back. “You can tell me.”
At this, she didn’t say anything. Probably trying to decide on whether or not to tell me what she was afraid of. Unlike yesterday in the bathroom, I waited until she told me.
“I came back to tell you that my father was working for someone to take you down. I waited to tell you, but I needed to make sure that it was true, but Seth and I were left with a dead-end,” She explained as I pulled away and walked over to my desk. “Whoever this mysterious person is, they’re going to do whatever it takes to take you down.”
“Whoever they are has just started.
“They have?”
“Yeah,” I sighed. “I just learned that someone took money from me and today I found out that my head of stock Intel was just killed and sent to his family. If this is your father’s doing, I’m hurting him.”
“It’s not,” She said, walking over to me. “He can’t kill to save his life and he doesn’t have enough money to hack into a system like yours. Let alone hire someone.”
“So, whoever’s doing this is this mysterious person?”
“Yeah. Something Seth was working on when Dima had him look for Mike.” She said, crossing her arms.
“What? Mike hurt you and forced you to kill someone. How am I supposed to let that go?”
“By letting it go with having the knowledge that you have me.”
“So, Dima doesn’t know where Mike is?” I asked, opening the envelope.
“Yep.”
“You do know that I can still have him found, right?”
“Yeah.”
“So let’s make a deal,” I said, handing her the contract. “Sign the contract and I won’t find him.”
“Fine. Only because I have something to do.”
“Thank you.” I said, smacking her ass as she walked past me and to her office.
Can’t help but smirk, I walk behind my desk and start back on working on Sophia’s paperwork. Throughout the process, I couldn’t help but think of Rhea. My mind was flooded with every thought of wanting to have her naked body back on my desk, in my bathroom, and in my bed. She’s going to be the death of me and it’s no joke.
Putting my focus back to Sophia’s papers, I massage my temples, then look up at her walking in.
“Good morning, brother.”
“Did you really have to move the date up to this Friday?”
“You’re not doing anything this Friday so stop being a big baby about it.”
“Did you come to do your own paperwork?” I asked, handing all of her files before standing up.
“No, I came here because Dima said that there was a surprise visitor that wanted to see me.”
“Did he tell you who it was?” I sighed.
“No. All he said was-”
Before Sophia could finish, Rhea walked out and they immediately made eye contact. Looking at my sister’s expression, it was hard to tell if she was okay or not, but when she lunged at Rhea, I had my answer.
“You have so f*****g nerve to be here, you slut!” Sophia yelled as I pulled her off of Rhea.
“I’m sorry, Sophia,” Rhea said, standing back up. “I didn’t know.”
“I trusted you. I treated you like my sister. I was finally happy that Enzo fell in love with you because he didn’t have to have to f**k different whores, but I was wrong. You hurt my brother,” Sophia cried. “You hurt him and the only thing that made him better was saying that meeting you was a mistake.”
Shit
I remembered saying that when Rhea left, but that was because she hurt me. Now that she’s back, I don’t think that anymore.
Hearing Sophia say this, I saw the hurt in Rhea’s eyes. I hurt that I felt when she left. She came back because what she did was a mistake but I forgave her. If Dima or Sophia doesn’t then how cares? I was the one who got hurt. Not them.
“Look. I’m sorry for what I did to your brother, but I didn’t know that he fell in love with me,” Rhea said. “If I had known, I would’ve stayed. I really would. I came back to tell him; to tell you that what I did was wrong and I shouldn’t have hurt him.”
“He may have forgave you because you’re just some b***h he can f**k whenever his d**k gets hard, but if you came back just to get my forgiveness, then you wasted your money.”
“Sophia, that’s enough.” I growled.
“Don’t use that f*****g tone on me,” She yelled. “I’m your sister.”
“Yeah and I love you, but if you’re going to be like this when Rhea’s here, then ask father to sign all your papers.”
“Really, Enzo? After what she put us through; what she put you through, you’re taking her side?”
I’m not taking anyone’s side,” I said. “What I’m dealing with is too much that I can’t have you fighting the women that I love and care for whenever you see her.”
“THE WOMAN YOU LOVE!?”
“You know what,” I said, taking Sophia’s file and handing it to her. “You’re in my office hurting my women. You may be my sister, but I won’t help you if you’re going to hurt her. So, when you’re ready to come to me without fighting her, then I’ll finish. Other than that, have father finish.”
I love my sister but I also love Rhea. Never in my life would I want to have to choose between one of them, so with this, I’m just giving Sophia a fair warning. I just hope that she’ll forgive Rhea.
Checking to see that Rhea was okay, I noticed that Sophia had walked and laid her file back on my desk. Walking towards the doors, she stopped.
“If she hurts you, I’m killing her and I don’t care what you’ll say.”
“She hates me.” Rhea said, a minute after Sophia left.
“She’ll get over it.” I said, holding her face.
“So, since I finished signing, what would you like me to do?”
“Go home.”
“Enzo-“
“You need rest so go home,” I said, kissing her forehead. “I’m heading out soon as well anyway.”
“Fine.” She sighed.
“Text me when you get home.” I said as she walked to the door.
