Infiltrating the China holding facility was pretty easy for Ryoka’s team thanks to Jamie who was as stealthy and slippery as a snake and got them through the defenses of the facility to the grate of the vent where they are to enter through, Ryoka suspected it was easy because the facility was meant to keep those inside in and not to actually really prevent people from entering, she knew coming out was going to be harder than going in, but then they really didn’t plan to go out quietly either ways.
Thanks to Adrian’s Mom’s blueprint of the facility, they were able to find their way around, the woman had really tried, she had put in a lot of hard work into acquiring details upon details of a lot things about the WIC, Ryoka really wished to gave met her, and hopefully she will one day if all goes according to plan.
The trio head subtly for the control room, judging by the time they were, the prisoners would be in their cells by now, info supplied by Adrian’s mom’s notes as well, so they would need to get to the fontrol room and unlock the cells, but one other crucial thing they needed to unlock was the collars on the Eldrians, the humans don’t have, but all dragons have because it is used to make them submit to the will of whoever controls it at the moment, it is meant to send an electrical discharge right to a particular nerve around the C3 of the spinal cord, this brings a whole world of pain for the recipient and renders him/ her helpless.
Christine had been able to develop a kind of program that could unlock the collars if broadcasted on a particular frequency that the equipment in this kind of control room would have, thanks also the series of the already gathered information by Adrian’s mom, so still the control room was their best shot, both at freeing the prisoners from their cells and at unlocking the collars of the Eldrians.
They got to a corridor that led straight into the control room they were seeking, but it was littered with guards just lingering about, now they understood why some of the places they expected conflict was empty of guards, they were all here, most of them anyways.
Ryoka looked at both of her teammates, only Jamie was really suited for battle, Christine was more of a tech person, the smart ones, and although she can fight to some extent, it wasn’t close to the kind of skills needed for this here battle, but Jamie on the other hand had only trained all his life to be better accustomed to his breed, a wystern, sleek and graceful, fast and deadly, he had trained with both his human body and dragon form to be better at what he is.
Wysterns are mainly used by the WIC as assassins, their conciseness, speed, precision, and agility as well as flexibility especially in dragon form makes them the most suitable for such tasks, wysterns also take it upon themselves to train their human body to be just as deadly as the dragon form, just as Jamie had done, even though there was no one he was to fight and even though it seemed like they would live out their lives in that their jungle, he didn’t let that deter him from training hard, well there was Letty as well who refused to let any of them slack off especially in combat training.
No words were needed again as they had planned over and over again every possible outcome of this expenditure, thanks to Jaime and his ability to map out different scenarios, for this particular one though, Christine was to make herself as scare as possible while Jaime and Ryoka battle it out with the guards, and while this is going on, Christine is to go to the control room and take it over then enact the actual plans.
But then there was a particular catch to this particular mission, there is a section of the prison in which the more important prisoners of the WIC are being held, and despite herself, Ryoka wished any or both of her parents where here, but she knew it might only be wishful thinking after all.
This aspect of the plan was given to Jaime, his job was to seek such people out amongst all those that were presently being held, and free as many as possible because they are the actual ones that they need for the fight effort against the WIC, freeing the rest of the prisoners was just a sort of necessary distraction and tactics.
Ryoka looked at both her teammates, then they both nodded their head in form of agreement to show that they were ready as much as she is, at that point Ryoka started to feel a kind of rush which she was almost getting familiar with now, the rush of adrenaline as she poises herself ready for battle.
The fire alarm suddenly sprung to life and started blaring loudly over the speakers and shocked the guards out of what they were originally doing, Ryoka had blew a small flame at the smoke detector, she blew some more at it and this triggered the sprinkler system which started to dose everywhere with fire extinguishing water.
In the momentary confusion of the guards, Ryoka and Jamie were already amongst them, the ones closest to them that suddenly became aware of them quickly got dispatched by them, getting knocked out really hard, at that point the others started to notice them as well and then they called to the other guards to come to their aid.
The plan was working perfectly, removing the guards from other posts to this point promised a smooth flowing escape, the battle had started in earnest and Ryoka and Jamie had their fill of guards to knock about, it was hard going seeing as they didn’t want to kill the guards but rather knock them out, the guards on the other hand wanted to capture them as well seeing as they held nothing lethal to attack the duo with.
But then the Tasers that the guards held posed a bit of a problem, first of all, everywhere and everyone was wet already, so each time one of them foolishly uses the Taser, it affects quite a few number of them, shocking them all round, you would think that was enough reason for them to stop using the stun gun but then they only kept at it.
Each time the voltage passes through Ryoka’s body, she felt the shock quite alright but it also felt to her as if it only stored somewhere inside her and didn’t pass out of her, the more she is shocked with it, the more the effects store in her and all the more angrier it makes her, as she fought through the mob of the guards, she realized Jamie had broke off to another corridor and only had a few guards to fight, she turned so that her back was to him and fought off the guards coming on so they won’t follow him.
After a while she couldn’t see him again and the fight had already progressed to another corridor now, as she fought those before her, others came from behind and these ones were fully kitted from head to toe, wearing helmets and holding a blockage glass shield.
At that point, those she was engaged with retreated just a bit and also formed a blockage line, now she was in the midst of the horde to both sides, just then, both sides opened up and gave way to about three people on each side, the six of them had a gun with them, the guns they held looked bigger compared to the ordinary stun gun the others had been using, it was then she noted that they must have figured out she is an Eldrian and so they brought enough firepower of stun guns that could actually bring her down.
Before she could react to that realization though, the six of them fired, the hits were like nothing Ryoka ever felt as the electric current passed into her in enormous amounts and it only kept on coming, before she knew it, she was on her knees already, whimpering from the pain of the electrocution, it was then she felt herself fill up to the brim, she had no idea why she felt filled up or what filled her up, but then she knew she had to let it out and there was only one way to do that, so she screamed.
