The palace trembled.
Dust fell from the ceiling.
A distant explosion echoed across the kingdom.
Sophia grabbed Alexander’s arm.
“They’ve started.”
Alexander turned sharply.
“Started what?”
Before she could answer—
The doors burst open.
“Your Majesty!”
A soldier rushed in, breathing hard.
“They’re in the sky—closer now! And there are lights—taking people!”
Alexander’s eyes narrowed.
“Taking?”
The soldier nodded quickly.
“Yes! Anyone caught in it just—vanishes!”
Sophia stepped back slowly.
“…just like the dream…”
Alexander looked at her, but said nothing.
Another tremor shook the room.
“Call the war chamber,” Alexander ordered.
“Now.”
INT. WAR CHAMBER – MOMENTS LATER
Voices filled the room.
Tense.
Uneasy.
“They’re not attacking like an army!”
“They’re selecting targets!”
“What do they want?!”
“Enough!”
The room fell silent.
Alexander stood at the head of the table.
“Report clearly.”
The doors opened again.
Captain Theodore stepped in.
Armor still on.
Eyes sharp.
“I’ve seen enough,” he said.
Alexander faced him.
“Then speak.”
Theodore didn’t hesitate.
“This is not a war we understand.”
A murmur spread across the room.
Sophia stepped forward.
“Then help us understand it.”
Theodore’s voice was calm.
“They are not here to destroy everything.”
(beat)
“They are searching.”
“For what?” Alexander asked.
Theodore’s gaze didn’t waver.
“For someone.”
Silence.
EXT. CITY OF AVARIS – NIGHT
A beam of light shot down from one of the ships.
People screamed.
Ran.
Fell.
A man reached for his wife—
“Don’t let go!”
The light touched them.
They lifted.
Pulled upward.
Gone.
INT. PALACE CORRIDOR
Footsteps echoed fast.
Three figures walked together.
Unbothered.
Focused.
Jason stretched his neck slightly.
“…finally.”
Homer glanced at him.
“Finally what?”
Jason smirked.
“Something interesting.”
Another explosion shook the walls.
Homer frowned.
“You call this interesting?”
Perseus walked quietly beside them.
Hand resting on his sword.
“You talk too much,” he said.
Jason chuckled.
“And you don’t talk enough.”
They stopped.
A loud blast echoed from outside.
Jason’s smirk faded slightly.
“…alright.”
(beat)
“This is bigger than I thought.”
INT. WAR CHAMBER
The doors opened.
Jason, Homer, and Perseus stepped in.
Alexander turned.
“You’re late.”
Jason shrugged.
“Hard to be early when the sky is breaking.”
Sophia studied them.
“These are the ones?”
Captain Theodore nodded.
“They don’t follow rules.”
(beat)
“But they get results.”
Homer crossed his arms.
“That’s one way to say it.”
Perseus said nothing.
Watching everyone.
EXT. BALCONY – SAME TIME
Elara stood still.
The light in the city flickered again.
Another group of people vanished.
Her breathing became uneven.
“They’re taking them…”
Her hand pressed harder against her chest.
That feeling—
Stronger.
Burning.
Then—
The ship above her moved again.
Closer.
Elara stepped back.
“…no…”
INT. ALIEN FLAGSHIP
Eros stood calmly.
“Multiple extractions complete.”
The alien king—Theodore—watched silently.
“She’s reacting,” Eros added.
A faint smile appeared.
“As expected.”
Eros tilted his head.
“Do we proceed with full capture?”
A pause.
The alien king shook his head.
“No.”
(quietly)
“She will come to us.”
BACK TO: BALCONY
Elara’s breathing slowed.
Her eyes locked on the ship.
Then—
A voice.
[You cannot hide.]
She froze.
“…stop…”
[We are close.]
Her voice trembled.
“…leave me alone…”
The light above her intensified.
INT. WAR CHAMBER
A soldier rushed in again.
“Your Majesty!”
Alexander turned sharply.
“What is it now?!”
The soldier struggled to speak.
“They’re not taking everyone…”
Theodore stepped forward.
“What do you mean?”
The soldier swallowed.
“…they’re choosing.”
Silence.
Jason’s expression changed.
“Choosing who?”
The soldier hesitated.
Then said quietly—
“…someone important.”
EXT. BALCONY
Elara slowly looked up.
The ship was directly above her now.
Waiting.
Her voice barely came out.
“…me?”
The light grew brighter.
And for the first time—
The kingdom understood.
This was not random.
This was a hunt.
