Alpha Logan's POV
I sat at the table waiting for everyone to show up as usual but they never did. I assumed Emery was upset due to what had happened between us last night, but for Leah, it was rather strange. When I had awoken I discovered she was not in bed but didn't think too much of it, but when I asked, I was told she stepped out very early. I stared at the dish in front of me and my stomach coiled in uneasiness.
What if she was telling the truth? What if she wasn't just saying that to get to start talking to her again? Not that I doubted or didn't trust my wife, but I just couldn't help but have that feeling
"Samantha is it?" I asked the maid standing by the corner and she nodded almost immediately "Yes Alpha"
