The party was still ongoing so Amelda’s parents had to go back and entertain their guests. As soon as they entered the hall, they were met with the Valtorian couple.

​Rasmus looked at Thallorine with a worried expression. He had noticed how Amelda reacted when the marriage was brought up and he also did not see her for hours. When he finally saw her, she seemed to be arguing with her parents. After a banter between the family of three, Amelda seemed very downcast.

​Serena was used to big scenes so she recovered quickly, noticing Rasmus and Elena walking towards them with a worried face. She smiled sweetly, guiding the conversation.

​“Rasmus, Elena, let’s have a good talk about the children when everything is calm. What do you think?” She said, not forgetting to ask for their opinions as well.

​“Of course my queen,” Rasmus responded while Elena smiled warmly. They knew just what Serena was doing and since she didn’t want to talk about it, they won't force it either.

​Thallorine smiled at his wife. It had been years since they got married and she always knew how to avoid and solve problems for him. He was truly blessed. Running a Kingdom and having an understanding wife.

​The ball lasted a few more hours before the king saw his guests off.

​Finally, the Autumn festival came to an end and Thallorine addressed his people. He sent gifts to each household making them happy and praise him. It had been tradition for years. But the Elyndrian people never forgot to give gratitude. Out of all Elyndor, they were most abundantly blessed with nature, safety, and a great ruler. What more could a people want?

​The group of 4 were seated in the garden munching on drinks and snacks while catching up. Their laughter genuine filling the air. The men talked and the women giggled beside them creating a wonderful atmosphere.

​“Just like before, when Thallorine was chasing after you Serena. You were so shy and naive,” Elena teased. Serena used her hand to tap lightly on Elena’s leg telling her to stop.

​“Yes, yes, I remember. At first, Thallorine scared her away on their first meeting when he spoke about love and marriage,” Rasmus said as well. Both him and his wife teasing both Thallorine and Serena.

​Unlike Serena, Thallorine accepted what was said without shame. “You can’t blame me, Serena is beautiful and I just knew she would make me a happy man.”

​“Oooooo,” the Valtorian couple said making Serena blush hard.

​“Thallorine stop, we’re no longer kids,” she said but her body language and face betrayed her.

​“Speaking of marriage,” Rasmus said changing the topic before things start getting awkward. At this, everyone had semi-serious expressions on their faces.

​The Elyndrian couple because their daughter seemed to dislike the idea and the Valtorian couple because this concerned their son. The future king of their realm.

​Elyndor and Valtoria lead the Elyndrian realm but Elyndor had no son to lay claim to the throne. An alliance between the two kingdoms keeps the legacy of both, which is why Amelda and Lancelot had to get married.
