ARIA Sunlight streamed into the room through dark curtains, hitting my face. I winced and buried my face into the pillows. “It’s time to wake up, Aria.” I frowned at the sound of the voice. It was light and high-pitched. It wasn’t Maximo. My eyes snapped open to reveal Maria pulling the curtains open. “What are you doing?” My voice was groggy and husky from sleep. Maria turned to me, running a hand down the front of her maid uniform. “I was given specific instructions to wake you up for breakfast if you slept past 10 am,” she replied.
