Alexa's POV
I woke up the next morning, my thighs and joints were aching me,I got out of the bed and went into the shower,after I finished taking my bath,I only had the clothes I wore to club yesterday,so I slipped it on and went into the sitting room, getting there I saw his brothers they were having their breakfast,I asked of Christopher,and they told me he had gone out earlier, I felt disappointed, I knew he couldn't face me,because of yesterday embarrassment, I bid them goodbye and I got out of his penthouse,since it's a Sunday I decided to go home and go have some rest.
MONDAY MORNING
I got back to work very early,i met marie on the way, she was leaning against the desk counter, "Good morning marie how are you doing" marie turns her head backwards excited to see Alexa "o.m.g Alexa morning am fine,what happened to you,you disappeared in the club" she was looking forward to hear my reply I could see it on her face expression "am sorry with the way I left,I got tired of the party" i replied hoping she would buy the lie."come-on alexa I saw you leave with a hottie,I couldn't see his face", "oh well about that hottie" as I was about to reply marilyn interrupted the conversation "Alexa and marie, the manager asked to see you" she left in a hurry,I ran after her then marie too followed.
"madam Teresa you asked to see us".
"yes alexa you are to write a novel for the company and marie will be your partner, you are both going to present your novel as other staffs too are going to do same". i was really surprised to see the company finally giving us task,am really excited "ok mam,we promise not to disappoint you" we left the managers office."Alexa" a voice called from behind,it sounded familiar,when I turned back I saw Christopher Bardot the C.E.O
" Get in my office now".
