Olivers Pov.
'Oh my gosh, what do we do?!! What if she's not nice to my brother and I?? I don't want to be experimented on again... I could barely stay awake to protect my brothers. I wonder if they can tell our hair colors are dyed black instead of our natural hair colors. To be fair, our hair color is not a normal color, but it's still pretty cool. I know that nice lady was giving me encouraging words to calm down, but I can't help but be nervous'
.... Ding!.... Ding!.....Ding!.. The elevator stopped, and the doors started to open. Everyone started to get out of the elevator and step into a beautiful room with a waterfall-like wall. Sitting on a dark wine red-colored, L-shaped couch was a woman looking so elegant reading a book and drinking a glass of orange juice snuggled up with a blanket. Taking a sip of juice, she looks up as everyone walks towards her. She puts her cup down on the small coffee table next to her to get up.
'Wowww she's so pretty and kinda odd looking.' I rub my eyes just to make sure I'm seeing what I'm seeing. ' She looks just like my brothers and I. Except for our eyes, of course, but to be fair, we all have different eye colors.
When the lady spots the boys she begins to tear up, holding her hands to her face as she slowly takes steps towards the little boys to not spook them. She kneels down to where she is sitting on the floor on her knees. She has beautiful curly silver hair with hot pink-colored eyes. She smiles so brightly towards all three boys, showing her deep dimples on both cheeks and high cheek bones and defined facial features, making her beauty shine more exquisitely breathtaking.
"Hi there, my name is Kallia, but you can call me Lia or any nickname you want. I don't mind. I know you three little ones must have alot of questions for me, so go ahead and ask away sweeties." She says lovingly towards the three little boys with tears going down her face.
"Hello miss, so um I do have some questions, but I will save those for later, but why do you look alot like us?? I know it's rare to have the same hair color just because my mom and dad once said our hair color is really rare, and we wouldn't be able to meet many people with the same hair color." Geez I hope I didn't sound rude... I was just genuinely curious. Dad did say it's better to speak my mind though, rather than beating around the bush except for when it comes to my younger brothers.
"I absolutely don't mind answering, young man, but would you mind telling me your name first??" Miss Kallia says in a soft tone.
"Pardon me, where are my manners? My name is Oliver. I am 11." How could I forget to introduce myself!!! It's a good thing dad isn't here, or he'd have a blast teasing me about this..., man, I miss my mom and dad.
"Well, hi there Oliver, you answered your question..." She grabs his hand as she holds in the tears threatening to spill from her eyes. "I have the same hair color as you and your brothers, it is because I am your aunt who has been looking for you' three since your parents went to heaven little one." Watching the tears slide down her pretty face as she tells my siblings and I this. I wonder if she knows what we can do.
"I will not hurt you and I promise to make sure no one will ever harm you three ever again. Okay??" She tells me with pleading eyes that hold so much sincerity in them, it makes it hard not to believe her. Clark tugs at my sleeve, nodding his head at me, looking between both of us, and I already know why he's doing that. His power is to be able to use his eyes to detect if someone is lying. I'm not sure how his power works yet, but I think it's still pretty kool. Then Val wakes from his sleep and gets down from Anna's lap and comes over to me and signals me to ask what I want from her. I took a deep breath.
"Sooo does this mean you can do what we do too??" Lia looked at the boy with a strange look but carefully asked.
“What type of things honey??” Okay, I can do this, it’s really simple. With a nudge from Clark and Val, giving me the go ahead. I close my eyes and hold my hands out while picturing what I want to appear in my hands. When I open them again, I see everyone shocked and handed what I had just created to my brother Val, knowing he wanted it for Anna. Seems he’s already found his new favorite person. I roll my eyes but have a small smile playing at my lips. I looked over to Lia but to find her smiling with tears coming down her face.
“Is something wrong? I didn’t mean to make you cry, it’s just you guys are the first people we’ve met that have been nice and honest to us since our parents went away.” I’m a little nervous she might be upset that I showed her my powers.
“ No honey, in fact everything is amazing!! Omg you are just like your mom. She used to make me so many things whenever I was sad. I never knew you inherited her powers, my little minow.” Wow, she’s really happy. I look over to Val and Clark with a big ole cheesy smile on my face, nodding at them to show her theirs too. Clark sighs while rolling his eyes at me, then turns his head towards her and his eyes glow. That shows that we’re using our powers.
Clark’s pov.
“Do you mind if I ask a question??? I am quite a curious child.” I know at this point my eyes are glowing a bright red showing I’m using my powers.
“Shoot your shot kiddo.” Lia says with a smirk plastered on her face, wondering what his power is.
“Do you know how our parents died??” Let’s see if she’ll lie to me. Her smile left her face, that’s interesting.
“Yes I do…why do you ask little one??” Her smile still gone from her face trying to figure out what I'd say next.
“ Do you know who killed them??” Let’s see if she’ll tell the truth. She stays silent, not wanting to answer. Debating if she should tell me or not. After much hesitation, she finally answers my question.
“No I don’t.” The aura around her turns bright red, telling me she’s lying. I absolutely hate liars.
“One thing about me, miss, is I don’t like when someone tries to hide the truth, especially even after I already asked a question. So I’m going to ask again one last time, do you know who killed our mom and dad??” I’m already mad because she lied the first time I asked and if she does so again it means I can’t fully trust her.
“What makes you think I’m lying?? What if I really don’t know who killed them?? And to answer your question again, No, I don’t know who killed them.” She tells me with no emotion on her face. I knew she was a liar. Oliver tried to stop her but I intervened.
“Because my power gives me the ability to be able to tell when someone lies to me. Which is exactly what you did when answering my questions.” She went to try to explain, but I’ve had enough and walked over to Val.
