As the door knob turned, Celeste held her breath in anticipation. This was probably her last chance because Dante wouldn't be fooled by her the third time. She couldn't afford for anything to go wrong.
Dante was surprised, to say the least, on seeing how amazing Celeste looked. His eyes raked down her delectable body, his breath hitching on every curve of hers. He might have f****d her every night since she had been here, but seeing her standing in front of him, willingly wanting to give him what he desired got him more than excited. He was hard, and he wanted to take the girl in front of her, right then and there.
Scott, Aaron and the blonde guy; whose name she still hadn't learnt, entered the room, bringing Dante out of the lusty fog that had surrounded his mind.
Celeste's plan was to get Dante alone; she had thought to ask Dante to be her only companion for the night as she couldn't take down four werewolves at once. So she was shocked when Dante ordered three of his most trusted men to leave.
"She's mine tonight. You should find someone else to play with." Dante commanded, using his alpha voice.
As soon as the men were out, Dante didn't waste a single moment and was in front of Celeste with his eyes wild.
Play your cards right, and this might be the best night of your life, Celeste thought to herself before throwing her arms around Dante and pulling him closer.
Leaning in, she breathed sinister things into Dante's ear. She could feel him going harder by the moment but she still had to wait to strike, even though the wait was killing her.
Taking Dante's earlobe between her teeth, she lowered her hands down to unbutton his jeans. He was breathing harder by the time Celeste's took his p***s in her hand.
As Celeste got down to her knees to take him in her mouth, Dante moaned, "Yes b***h, that's right. Take me completely." At that instant, she wanted to bite his d**k off but she couldn't do that yet even though the idea was more than tempting.
Minutes later, Dante had her pinned down on the bed, sucking on her breasts. She fake-moaned and arched her back as if she was enjoying what Dante was doing to her but on the inside, she wanted to rip this arse's throat off.
It was driving Dante nuts that how into him Celeste was, and never once would he have thought of what was about to happen to him. As soon as he was close to his orgasm, Celeste rolled him over, taking the charge.
It's now or never, she thought. Leaning down, Celeste left a trail of nips and kisses down Dante's throat and when she knew that he was on his high, she bared her fangs. Taking a pillow in her hand, she made her move and simultaneously covered Dante's mouth with it. She took a huge chunk from his neck in between her teeth, and tore it off. Enough to leave the wolf unconscious and Dante couldn't even make a sound. When she was sure that her captor was out cold, she slid off the bed and cringed as she saw the bloody mess in front of her.
As soon as she could, she washed the metallic taste from her mouth and ran towards the window which gave her a full view of the forest outside. She peaked out of the window and could see the guards pacing.
How she was going to outsmart them was something Celeste hadn't thought about. But there was no going back now. If she gave up, Dante would torture her to no end and even if she managed to get away from Dante, she knew Ben would kill her and her family for what she just did.
Breathing deep, she wrenched the window open and once she was out, she stealthily climbed down the vines.
The cold breeze was making it difficult for her to climb down carefully. At times, she felt her balance wavering along with her confidence but one thought about her parents, and she didn't need any more assurance.
As she stepped foot on the cold hard ground, hiding behind the bushes she continued walking until she reached the destination and then rounded the corner. Two vampires were guarding the gates which further led to the dungeons where her pack was kept. She didn't have much time left as the werewolf she left behind might have been close to regaining his consciousness. I have to make it fast.
She waited for one of the guards to cross the threshold and get closer to where Celeste was and when he did, she didn't waste another second prior to snapping his neck before he could so much as move his mouth to speak.
One down, one more to go. She prepared herself as the second guard went to sit on the stool next to the large gate.
Before she could get to the guard, she heard a few voices talking, "I honestly do not know what my son wants with that filthy rogue." It was Ben who spoke, sending disgusted shivers down Celeste's spine. "She's a play-toy to him, Alpha. Let the kid have some fun before he gets stuck with his mate." Another voice snickered and then the voices faded away. She sucked in a breath and turned around to see the guard examining the unconscious guard's body. When he looked up, both Celeste and the guard froze as their eyes met. And then with something close to a war cry, the guard came at her with his vampire speed but Celeste was faster. She dodged the attack and when she was behind him, she pushed the vampire in a manner that he fell face first to the ground. A moment later, Celeste had what she desired; the keys to the dungeon.
Hurriedly, she changed her flimsy red dress to the dead guard's uniform and opened the gates. The only obstacles now were the silver bars and cuffs that were holding her family down.
I can do it; she prepared herself as she descended down the steps. The half-vampire slaves must have scented her as all of them had their silver weapons held in a defensive stance. She raised her hands in surrender and as she opened her mouth to speak, one of the half-vampire slaves shot at her. No matter how fast she was, the compact space didn't give her room to move and the silver bullet grazed her shoulder, making her scream in agony.
She sank to her knees, her body burning with pain. "Stop," she croaked, "I mean no... no harm."
Another vampire brought the pistol right between her eyes which were now widened with fear. Just when the vampire was about to pull the trigger, there was a trembling voice heard, "we'll help..."
The voice gave Celeste so much happiness and relief that she almost cried, "We'll help you get away from these werewolves." Blayne promised firmly, the tremble now gone from his voice.
The vampires gave cynical looks to each other and after what seemed like ages, one of them nodded and all the vampires lowered their pistols.
Taking the support of the slimy wall, Celeste gathered herself up and ran to her father's cell. In the spur of the moment, she held the silver bars and hissed as it burnt her palms.
"Please open the cell, I need to get my pack out before anyone comes to know of this." She begged the vampires. The vampire who had agreed to their agreement, now dubiously opened the prison and then un-cuffed him. As soon as he was free of silver, he embraced his daughter in a hug tighter than he ever had. They didn't waste time though, as everyone else was to be freed.
She left her father in the cell to regain the lost energy whilst she urged the vampire to free all the other members as well. She realized that the vampire's name was Stewart and he was not as half bad as the legend portrayed. In fact, just like Celeste and her pack, they wanted to be free.
"Stewart, do you know where my mom and other females are kept?" Celeste asked when all the male wolves were set free of the silver. Blayne was now by her side, having recuperated. He didn't know what his daughter had gone through during his time in the prison, but he could see that she was now even more determined than she ever was.
"Yes, they're in the cells down that path. I'll send some of us to set them free." He then called out to someone named William and sent three of them with a set of keys to a dimly lit passage.
While Blayne was laying out his plan in front of Stewart and the other two vampires, Celeste was getting nervous by the minute.
It's about to get worse from here... She didn't know how, but she just knew it. It was like the eerie feeling was creeping up her body like needles.
"Dad, we need to get everyone out of here before someone from Ben's pack gets a hunch of this." She panicked and her father nodded; to her surprise. Instead of waiting for the three vampires to come back with the women and children of the pack, she walked towards where they had gone.
"Celeste... Where's my daughter, you monster?" Celeste heard someone yelling, followed by a thump and a curse. She increased her pace and when she came across the scene unfolding in front of her, she was not sure whether to gasp or smile.
"Mom," she croaked, tears welling up her eyes as she witnessed the condition her mother was in. Her soft golden blonde hair had turned completely covered in dust and were an unruly mess. Her eyes had bags under them, her face supported scratch marks and the dress she had been wearing the last time Celeste saw her was now stained. Colina's wrists were blistered where the silver had touched her skin. She turned to look at her daughter, relief spreading through her entire being. Both of them ran towards each other, Colina slower than Celeste and when they hugged, it felt as though they had reunited after a long time.
They cried until one of the vampires had voiced his concern of hearing some sort of commotion on the ground floor. That brought everyone out of their teary state. Each and every werewolf in the room was now stiff, ready to act for their safety. Celeste searched for Tyra and when she saw her huddled with her mother, she smiled at her.
"Alright, we don't have enough time so this is how we're going to proceed," Stewart explained, "the females will take the children from the back entrance which is only for us vampire slaves. It leads to the servant quarters back in the woods. Four of my friends will accompany you through the passage and they'll lead you to the main road where one of my men will be waiting with a vehicle. The males would stay here in the cells so that no one suspects when they come downstairs to examine the situation. Now go, save your lives. Good luck." He smiled at the wolves.
"I'll stay," Celeste pronounced, holding her tough demeanor albeit the terror that was consuming her body. Despite the dread, she felt weirdly hopeful and that was what all of them needed at the moment.
"No, because if you stay, they'll know you're here by your scent and then we will be doomed." Stewart sighed when she didn't budge, "Okay, do as you please but ask your pack to make it quick." She nodded and guided the females through the passage. Colina didn't want to leave her daughter but she knew what needed to be done and she knew her daughter all too well to oppose her decision. Whispering 'be careful' in Celeste's ear, she kissed her forehead and then left with the others who were in need of their Luna.
The fall was greater than it had seemed from above. Elliot tumbled down the hill until his entire body was scraped and bleeding but it didn't matter to him. He knew it would heal. By the time he had reached the foot of the hill, he was out of breath and his vision had gotten slightly blurry.
Something moved in front of him as he was about to get up. Thinking of it as the trick of light, he ignored it and stood up. Even after constant blinking, his vision remained hazy.
"I wouldn't have even moved if I were in your place." The voice sounded a lot familiar to him but he couldn't point it out. "They were right, you're stronger than the most."
"Who are you?" Elliot demanded.
"That is not for you to know. What you should know right now is that things bigger than you and I are about to happen and someone close to you will be the center of it all. Help yourself if you want to help her out." He felt a breeze stroke his face and then everything was eerily silent but his vision was back.
"Oi, kiddo." He whirled around to find out Gavin walking towards him in his shorts. Lucky mutt, gets to shift whenever he wishes to.
"What're you doing out here at this time? You're supposed to be patrolling the north border."
"I was doing exactly that, but I lost my footing and slipped." He was looking around for that voice of wisdom, "By the way, did you see anyone on your way?" When Gavin raised an eyebrow at him and shook his head, Elliot assured himself that he wasn't losing his sanity and that he had to talk about this to Elder Zachariah.
