Chapter Twenty-OneOnce the call to Sue had ended, Agnes and Sandra continued their walk along the quayside. The breeze, which had given a rather cool feel to the air a short while earlier, had dropped rather suddenly, so it now felt much warmer.
“I now understand why you love being here on the quayside,” Sandra said. “It's been quite a while since I was last here, but after these last couple of days, I now realise what I've been missing.”
“Wait until I introduce you to the wonderful café just around the corner from the hotel. You'll love it! On a fine day, you can sit outside with a glass of wine, or whatever takes your fancy.” Agnes replied. “While I was staying at the hotel, I used to pop in there all the time. But,” she sighed, “I don't get there so often since I moved out.”
