Chapter EightOnce Agnes had finished her glass of wine, she considered whether to continue looking around the shops in the mall, or go back to the apartment. While she had gone off the idea of any further shopping, she didn't really feel like going back to the empty apartment. Very likely Alan would be held up at the station for some time; going over the various statements he and his detectives had taken at the restaurant. That could leave her sitting on her own for ages.
