Episode 6: The Alpha's Possessiveness

Selene's pov
I didn't want to leave, a part of wanted to stay, that rush of passion, pleasure and ecstasy replayed in my head again and again. But I shook them away from my head. I couldn't stay here, not because I didn't want to, but currently the wolf prince was hunting for me. It was only a matter of time before he rallied an army of werewolves and tore the entire forest apart. I didn't want that, I didn't want anything to suffer because of me.
One of the main reasons I couldn't stay here of course was because of Ronan. He made me lose control anytime he was around. I couldn't think straight or behave properly. More importantly, I didn't trust him.
I couldn't. Even my own family didn't hesitate to sell me out just for some benefits, thus I just don't think I could trust anyone anymore.
Although Ronan was strong and acted possessively, I really didn't know anything about him except for everyone always calling him evil and cruel.
How could I be sure that he wouldn't sell me out to the wolf prince the moment he arrives just like my parents did. After all, he was just a banished alpha, what could he possibly do against the prince.
Thus, I made the decision immediately, although I was surprised that he even had a friend, I wasn't in the mood to care about any of that.
I needed to find a place to hide, start over and put this all behind me. That was my plan.
I had just stepped out of Bloodthorn forest region when I felt a tug on my chest. I felt my breathing quicken up slightly.
He knows. He knows that I've left, right now the question was whether he would come for me or not and honestly a large part me wished he would.
But I didn't falter in my steps and continued forwards. However, I soon realized something after walking for so long. I was lost, I had no sense of direction of where I was going at all.
I smacked my forehead in frustration, "i***t" I muttered as I realized I should have looked for a map or something similar at Ronan's place. Now I couldn't even figure out the way back.
I let out a sigh and then continued onwards regardless. I barely took five steps when I felt something.
I turned around to look but I saw nothing. But then the world around me began to darken.
"What now?" I mumbled while trying to keep calm but it was not working. It was just like on the night of the mate bonding ritual. I wasn't able to breath once again.
'No! This can't be!' i thought in panic. The curse was already broken when I mated with Ronan, I should be free of it now but once again I felt myself slowly lose energy as I fell to the ground.
I lost consciousness once again......

Once again, I woke up in the middle of the lake and immediately got up in panic, 'No, No, this can't be happening!' my thoughts where a mess at this moment. I thought the curse was already broken?
How could I be here now? Will I experience that hellish episode again?
Everything was still the same, the full moon, the still, calm lake, the mist that surrounded eveywhere, it was all the same.
Then, I heard the voice again, the soft voice that sent chills down my spine.
"The curse is broken, that which lay dormant is awake.
As every full moon rises, so shall it rise.
It will draw eyes from far and near.
It is either a blessing or a curse, for whoever wields the core, the power to create and destroy, in their hands shall it be.
The fate of the vessel, what shall it be?"
As the voice finished speaking, everything became silent, "Wh...what are you talking about?" I asked,
"What do you mean, what vessel?" I asked another question but I got no reply.
I felt extremely frustrated at this point, I didn't understand what the voice meant, I don't know what it wants, I don't understand what is happening to me.
Once again, the world began to darken, and before I could react, I woke up.
I was still in the same place in the forest, it was nighttime already and currently, there was a wolf, like a real wolf staring vigilantly at me, growling slightly.
I frowned slightly and glared back at the wolf, trying to intimidate it. unlike most werewolves I don't know how to transform yet. I was meant to learn this after the mate bonding ritual but the events that followed led to this point.
Despite this I was not afraid though, at the end of the day, it's just one wolf. I may not be able to transform yet but passively, I am much more stronger and faster than normal humans, the perk of a werewolf I guess. but then I heard the howl of another wolf.
Then another.
And another
And another,
It was a wolf pack, and it had a lot of members. My ears picked up the howls easily and allowed me to figure out that they were currently heading my way.
I didn't hesitate when I heard the howls though, I ran with all my strength. who are you kidding, unless I could transform, there was no way I'm getting entangled by these bunch of wild, dangerous creatures.
As I ran my thoughts spurned rapidly. I couldn't run for long, they'll catch up to me eventually so, I made my decision and promptly searched for the largest, tallest tree around and quickly climbed it.
I sat on the tree and stared at them while swallowing a lump nervously, they were a lot. Could easily number in hundreds.
Then I saw this huge wolf, come out to the clearing in the center, the other wolves bowed immediately.
It was the Alpha, it's red eyes seemed to bore holes through me.
It snarled at me and I felt a primal energy hit me. I shivered slightly, surprisingly feeling a slight urge to bow to it.
I was stuck, the Alpha causally laid on the ground, glancing at me mockingly, I could almost swear it was a werewolf if it wasn't for its scent. It was wild, primal and old.
I frowned and sighed, what a mess, I was a werewolf a supernatural creature but was cornered by a bunch of wolves.
Damn ritual put me into this mess. my whole life has always been simple, peaceful and happy, but that stupid ritual destroyed everything for me.
At this moment however, I hear a powerful roar sweep through the forest and my heart skipped a bit. It was him.
Ronan was here.
From where I sat atop the tree I saw a dark figure rapidly approaching me, his red glowing eyes made him look more menacing in the dark night.
The wolves shivered when they heard the roar. Even the Alpha stood up quickly as it's body tensed.
Ronan quickly arrived and leapt onto a tree close to me and leapt back down into the clearing, surrounded by the wolves.
The two Alphas glared at each other as the other wolves moved back slightly.
"She's mine" Ronan groaned and I felt my heart quicken up slightly.
The Alpha wolf growled, and Ronan smiled darkly ,
"Trust me old man, you don't want things to get messy, after all, unlike you, I don't have a pack. I don't mind taking down a few of yours during our squabble" Ronan threatened
And it seemed to work as the Alpha wolf growled and then began to leave.
I heaved a sigh of relief and immediately hopped down.
"You came for me" I said happily
"You left" he said as glared at me, his dark eyes made me feel hot and I immediately looked away.
"I...I... I didn't mean to it's just...." I stammered off, unable to even make a proper sentence.
"Do you know the punishment for what you have done?" He asked as he smiled, his smile was dark and captivating.
I shivered as I realized what my punishment would be instantly.
"Look... We don't have to...mmmm" I tried to back off but got my lips sealed by his instead.
It was a long passionate kiss and I completely lost myself in it. When he pulled back, I stared at him passionately and he chuckled.
"Look at you, you're almost drooling" he said and I blushed, unable to retort.
Then he grabbed my neck and pulled me closer to him tightly as he crashed his lips into mine again.
I didn't know when or how but when I finally came to my senses, I was almost naked.
"Not...here!" I managed to protest but he just scoffed in return.
"We'll do it anywhere little wolf, that's your first punishment for trying to run from me" he replied and then, a long night of passionate times in the middle of the forest at night took precedence.....
