But ever since Sophia walked through my office doors, nothing had felt predictable anymore.
The new design project I was working on with her was massive and I had no doubt in my mind that she could handle it. But still, that wasn’t enough. I didn’t just want her to handle it—I wanted her to own it. I wanted to push herself beyond the limits she thought she had and prove, not just to me but to herself, that she was capable of far more than she realized.
