CHAPTER SIX (HEED MY WORD)

“Why have you called me here, father??” Williams asked angrily.

“Have a seat son, you don't always have to always bark like a dog, you know.” King Charles said.

“Well, aren't we all dogs, father??”

The prince said jeeringly.

“Yes you're right son, but some of us have learnt to put away our animalistic tendencies.” King Henry said.

The prince chuckled mockingly. “Well, you all can continue to pretend to be normal, but the truth is we are all wild dogs and there is nothing that you can do to change that, old man.”

“You really need to learn to talk to me politely, or I might be forced to cut off your tongue so you won't get to speak at all.” King Henry said with a subtle smile.

The prince released another sarcastic chuckle. “Oh my sweet father. Aren't you being a little selfish with your demands?? First you interrupt my nap and now you're commanding me to be polite.”

“You know what, Williams?? Just have a seat. I'm not going to let you ruin my mood today.” The King said with a very calm tone.

So the prince came closer and sat next to him. “What is so important, that made you interrupt my nap??”

“I was told that you were seen at the Witch’s Tower, is that true??” King Charles asked with a very stern look.

“Are you now sending your henchmen to spy on me??” The prince asked angrily.

“Answer my question boy.” The King said sternly. The Prince didn't utter a single word.

“I said, "Answer me, Boy!!” The King Yelled.

“Yes I was there, father. Do you have a problem with that??” The prince said without any remorse.

“Are you out of your mind, boy?? Do you even know who we are talking about?? That woman is the most subtle human being on earth, nothing she says is true.” The King said, furiously.

“Well, what I do and who I see, is absolutely none of your business, father. I suggest that you take your nose out of my business and focus on being the Alpha.” Prince Williams said.

The King breathed out heavily, in an attempt to contain the anger that erupted on his inside. “You are very stubborn, and your stubbornness will eventually destroy you, if you don't repent. What did the witch tell you, that she has found a way to break the barrier? Don't be a fool Son!! My father died a miserable death just because he listened to that witch. I see you walking the same path that he walked.”

“Father, Did you really believe that your little fairytale would abort my plans? You must really be the biggest Joke of them all. The story only fueled my appetite for revenge. I will reclaim the birthright of this Kingdom and I will destroy anyone and I mean anyone who tries to stand in my way.” The prince said with a murderous look.

“Son listen to me, I can see a lust for revenge in your eyes, and it's slowly consuming you. You will stop this madness at once!!” The King said sternly.

The prince immediately began to laugh facetiously. “You didn't get what I said, did you?? I guess I'll have to repeat myself. I will destroy everything and everyone that tries to stand in my way, and don't you dare me father.”

“Are you threatening me boy??” The King asked with a very serious look.

The prince chuckled. “I'm not threatening you, father, I'm just giving a piece of my mind.”

“Now listen to me carefully. You will never see that witch again, do you understand??” The King

At this point the prince stood up angrily. “No!! I will not obey this command. You need to understand that I am not one of your subjects that can command as you please. I don't have to obey you, Alpha Charles.”

Triggered by a beastly rage the King Shape shifted into a glowering wolf, and with his huge paw, he flung the prince across the room.

The prince struggled to stand to his feet. “I'm still not changing my mind.” He said and limped out of the room.
