CHAPTER EIGHT (WARN THE WITCH)

“Jezebel!! Jezebel!! I know that you are in here, come out and stop playing games with me.” King Charles yelled angrily, as he paced around, in search of the witch.

Then she suddenly appeared from nowhere. “The Alpha Himself, what a pleasant surprise. It seems that you’re missing me already??”

“Don't patronize me Witch, I'm not in the mood for your silly jokes.” King Charles said angrily.

“If you aren't here for my jokes, then I don't want you here, leave.” The witch said jokingly

“If you didn't want me here you would have used the lock on the door.” The prince with a stern look.

“You haven't been here since the incident. I'm curious to know why you're here.” The Witch said with a subtle smile.

“I told you never to talk about that. You know, if I had my way, I would have killed you myself.” The King said with a murderous glance.

The witch chuckled jeeringly. “You’d be doing me a favor.” Now tell me why are you really here??”

“Did you tell my son that you have found a way to unlock the barrier??” The King asked angrily.

The witch smiled subtly but she didn't utter a single word.

But the witch kept mute and continued to smile subtly.

“Answer me!!” The King bursted out.

“Well maybe I did, but I don't owe any explanation.” She finally replied.

In a fit of rage King Charles held her by the neck and lifted her. “Don't play games with me, Witch. You may be immortal but I can make you feel pain in ways that you can never fathom.”

“It seems that the glory of the throne has made you forget who I am.” She said, sounding high pitched and choked. And in a few seconds she turned into a dark mist and slipped away.

Just as King Henry tried to find. She materialised behind him. “Looking for someone??” She said with a subtle smile.

“I'm warning witch don't play games with me, and stay far away from Williams. Don't make me come here again, you know what I'm capable of.” King Charles said angrily.

The witch chuckled jeeringly. “Ohh, are you threatening me??”

“No, I'm warning you to stay away from me and my son. Besides, we both know that you're lying about the barrier.” The King said.

At this point the witch got angry. “Lying?? Charles, we both know that I'm telling the truth. So I would leave the tower after decades just to tell you lies.”

“I don't care about what you believe, just stay away from all of us, you evil Witch.” King Henry said angrily.

The witch suddenly began to clap. “Wow, Alpha Charles, wow!! since you're such an honest man, why don't you tell everyone about how you murdered your own father.”

“I did what I had to do to protect my Kingdom. Besides, you were the one that helped him to conjure the spell that turned him into the beast that I killed.” King Charles said in his defense.

The Witch began to chuckle hysterically. “Are you protecting the Kingdom or yourself? Don't allow the ghost of your past to stand in the way of the people's liberation.” The Witch said.”

The King remained silent at this point.

“That's what I thought.” The witch scoffed.

“You can think what you want, but the next time I return to warn you, I won't do it with words.” The King said sternly and walked out.
