GOD it's hot! I'm taking another shower, Adesewa told 

her best friend Olukemi. 

Are you not suppose to be in your shop by now, it's 

past 2 already, you're here taking another shower

I'm really tired I had to finish a wedding dress last 

night, I'm suppose to be resting not attending to any 

clients today, that wedding dress was a rush and it 

was so stressful, that reminds me I'm meeting up with 

a client by 4 today I better rush, smart money woman, 

Kemi muttered.

Look who's talking if your manager calls you for a 

modelling job right now won't you go, Desewa giggled 

Like you said right now cause right now this girl 

needs money, you know money is never to much

but Desewa you need to relax this is the longest 

conversation we are having in weeks and your studio 

is the wrongest place to talk cause you never have my 

time, I'm sorry you know it isn't my fault, I have to go 

now I have a lot to do at the shop today, are you 

sleeping over tonight? we can talk better, no I can't I 

have a date with this guy I met two days ago but I 

might come back here after the date, Kemi said 

laughing, a date?

Kemi you need to be careful, there you go again I'm 

not a baby I know how to take care of myself by the 

way it's just a date, nothing more for now please go to 

your shop and leave me alone, Kemi muttered, I've 

heard you just be careful, she said heading out of the 

room.

Stepping out of her house her phone rings, Mrs 

Okunade, Is that how to greet to your mother?

Mom I'm on my way to work and I'm late can I call 

you when I get there? you won't call me i know you 

let's just talk now, okay mom what's it about?

I want us to have a family dinner on sunday which is 

in two days time incase you don't know, i want you to  

call your brother make sure he comes you know he 

won't answer me if I call him he doesn't know more 

than work, mom I'll call him don't worry, is that all? 

I'm about to start the car, yes my dear just don't 

forget to call your brother, alright mom, bye.

"Good afternoon ma, one of her apprentice greeted 

her as she came in, good afternoon has the lady 

come to pick her wedding dress, which wedding dress 

ma? the one we finished last night, "oh" no she hasn't, 

she just called the shop few minutes ago asking if we 

could deliver it, did you tell her she's going to pay? yes 

I sent our account number to her already, alright 

that's good when she sends the money call the 

delivery guy, alright ma. 

She stepped into her office to relax a little before the 

client she was expecting came in.

Blessing one of her apprentice came to knock on her 

door "come in" you have a client, a man, attend to 

him, he said he wants to see you, okay tell 

him I'm coming by the way, what's the time, last time 

I checked some minutes past 4, I'm expecting Mrs 

Martins call her let me know what's up, alright ma.

What a fine male specimen, she muttered silently has 

she stepped out of her office starring at him, good 

evening sir what can i do for you, I'm Xavier, he said 

stretching forth his hand for an handshake, Desewa, 

she said has she shook him.

My mom asked me to drop this fabric she couldn't 

make it, he said handing over the fabric to one of her 

apprentice, hope she's okay? yes she is just a little 

under the weather, oh alright I'll give her a call when 

I'm free, I should be on my way you own this place?" 

yes I do, why did you ask? nothing just curious it's 

really nice though, thank you, my regards to your 

mom, alright, he said leaving. 

Blessing please get me my phone, here it is, she 

collected her phone to dial Mrs Martins, good 

evening ma, evening my dear, your son just left he 

told me you're not feeling to well, I'm okay, I just need 

a little rest, it's needed, Desewa said smiling, when do 

you need the cloth, I have a party next weekend, what 

about the style you want, I will send the style to you 

on w******p, oh you picked a style already no 

problem ma get well soon, thank you my dear, take 

care ma, she said as she hung up. 

I'm really tired I should go home now, by the way has 

the lady goten her wedding dress, she asked Blessing  

the driver just left few minutes ago, alone?, She asked, 

yes ma since this is not the first time we're using him, 

Blessing you should know better it's a wedding dress 

we're talking about and you know how dramatic and 

annoying this lady can be, if anything happens to that 

dress you guys are paying for it, all four of you, 

Blessing you know we deliver wedding dress 

ourselves we don't send it out without following the 

delivery guy you better call the guy and know what's 

up, I don't want any story, do I have to tell you 

everything, you all know the rules, do you know how 

much that dress cost? a month salary for each of you 

join together and more, we're sorry ma, Blessing said, 

this is not about been sorry Blessing you should know 

better, I really don't want to get angry today, I'm going 

home you guys shouldn't close late, she said steping

I need a break from all this people, I really need a 

break! she murmured has she entered her car.

She picked her phone to call her sister Tolani,

Hey Tee, how are you? Sewa? I can't believe you called me I'm fine, how are you too? I'm good

Is everything okay? Everything is fine, I'm sorry I've been distant lately I've been really busy, I understand, if I didn't call why didn't you call too?

Everytime I call it's you don't pick and when you do you're always going to call back, did mom tell you about the dinner on sunday?

Yes she did and she asked me to call Simade, when was the last time you called him?

I can't remember but it's been a while, you should call him before sunday, I'll try.
