Laurain reached the airport just an hour before her flight. But she never thought that she would meet
Timothy Roden at the airport.
He was the son of Morgan's friend, more like a family friend.
He was also the first friend laurain made when she came to live with them. She practically cherished him. Laurain knew that he likes her, she also like him but she was not sure what kind of 'like' she had for him. She really was dumb in love related matters, the first time she said that to a person.....
Nevertheless he was handsome man and she liked him as a human and a friend, but she could do anything for him as at a time he was also her support system( according to Laurain). She knew one thing and that was she never wanted to lose this friend.
Timothy Roden, was a 23 years old handsome bachelor, recently took over his fathers company. He had that gentle and kind air around him that laurain liked the most.
Laurain was dressed in simple black fit-flares with a maroon shirt tucked in and her usual maroon handbag, her hairs loosely clipped behind.
"What are you doing here"Laurain asked confused, a smile already made its way on her face seeing him.
Timothy was dressed in a black Armani suit looking devilishly handsome, his brown eyes staring at her with happiness, his usual messy blonde hairs, combed perfectly.
"I came to see you off"
Laurain squinted her eyes, staring at him with some doubt, after all she knew him so well.
"Hmm...somethings fishy" laurain said her right hands finger under her chin.
Timothy chuckled, he really couldn't hide anything from her.
"I came here for two reasons, both are related to you" he said.
"I want to know the second one"
"Why not the first one" he asked a little confused but soon his confusion turned into another chuckle as he heard her.
"The first one being, you coming to see me off"
"Hmm you're right" he said, as he raised his hand to pat her head.
For him, Laurain was a simple youmg
A little far from them, Tom, who just entered, the airport saw laurain with a handsome man, what irked him the most was that kate and harry were just behind him coming his way.
"You didn't need to come here, I'll be going for a while now.... almost six months" Laurain said.
"I know thats why I came here" he said with a smile.
The next moment he bend down on his one knee and proposed Laurain.
"Will you marry me?"
Laurain was literally shocked, her eyes widen for a moment but she quickly shut her eyes and masked her expression.
Calm down, calm down.
Her colleagues mostly girls, including Nora, Willa and Skye and other girls present there starting squealing, most of them already took out there mobiles for making a video.
Timothy held a beautiful diamond ring, waiting for Laurain to say something, he was sure that she will not reject him, that's also why he decided to propose her infront of many people.
Laurain just moved her right hand towards him, waiting for him to put the ring on her finger, indirectly accepting his proposal. But she really didn't like this way of his.
Timothy slid the ring on her finger and stood up to hug her, laurain just opened her mouth to say
"I......."
When a hand grabbed laurain's wrist and dragged her from there.
Everyone stilled for a second,
Huh.... what just happened.
Laurain who was dragged to a small secluded area, a pillar hiding both of them, was really bewildered by know.
This is really a very bad day.
"Are you in your senses? Or what?"
Laurain glared at tom, who was still holding her wrist.
"Kate and harry are here" tom replied looking behind her for any signs of both of them.
"So?"
"Aren't you married now? Why are you accepting proposal from him now?" He looked at her with a piercing gaze.
He changed the topic, he really wanted to know more about her, specifically her relationship with that man, he himself didn't know why he felt that way.
"I'll make an appointment for you with a psychiatrist" Laurain replied, still trying to free her hand from his grip, she was sure that he had completely gone mad now.
"You're coming with me" tom said.
"I......
"Who are you?" Timothy came from the other side, pulling laurain to his side.
Tom was about to reply, but Laurain beat him to it.
"Friend"
"Why did he drag you away then?"
Laurain looked at Tom, who motioned her to tell him with his eyes.
"We got married" she said.
Shock would be a little word for Timothy at the moment, even tom was shocked, he thought she would make up a story.
Who would have thought that she would directly drop a bomb on both of them.
Timothy stilled, his brown eyes widened in shock.
"Fake marriage, for a friend" Laurain added, thats what she considered it as 'a fake marriage'.
"Getting a divorce in a few days."
Timothy's pale, shocked face gained a little colour as he heaved a sigh of relief.
Laurain was never a one to lie, she never lied no matter in which situation she was.
"We have to go" tom interrupted, he was irritated for some reason.
Laurain gave him a glance and then turned to Timothy.
"We'll meet after I come back"
"Okay, take good care of yourself" he again patted her head,
"And don't take off the ring" he whispered near her ear.
"I..."
"We'll talk about it later, I'll be going now" he hugged her and kissed her forehead and went away with a beautiful smile, but not before glaring at Tom.
As he went away Laurain turned towards tom, and was about to go past him, as it was getting late for her flight.
But at that moment kate and harry came towards them. Once again stopping laurain.
Where the hell I'm stuck.
"How are you? Are you both going for your honeymoon?" Kate asked mischievously, with a smile.
"Yes"
"No"
Both of them spoke at the same time.
"Huh"
"We're going, but there is a little problem with the tickets" tom said half truth.
"And I'm telling him that we can go after some time, no big problem"
"You both.....already look like an old couple. Already quarreling"
Harry laughed a little.
Both looked at eachother.
"We're not quarreling"
"We're not quarreling"
"Fine fine go handle your tickets" kate interrupted.
Tom took the chance and once again grabbed her hand and went away.
"Let go, handle them by yourself, i have a flight I'm already getting late" laurain said trying to free her wrist while being dragged by him to the ticket counter, this was the longest sentence laurain spoke to him.
"You are coming with me to Country C"
"You have gone mad"
Tom was a handsome man stood at a height of 1.82m, and can be really overbearing when needed, just like now. But ofcourse none of it worked on laurain.
Laurain already decided to beat the s**t out of him, when they finally reached the counter.
"I want to change the tickets"
"Sir what do you want to change?"
"Tickets"
"Yes sir, I understand, what do you want to change in the tickets" the receptionist said with an awkward smile.
"The tickets were taken on the identity card of a different person I want to change it to the person right here" tom pointed towards Laurain, who finally freed her hand.
She simply ignored him and went to take her poor small suitcase which was forgotten, in the middle of nowhere.
Tom again went after her, he was determined to take her with him no matter what. Just as Laurain grabbed the handle of her suitcase her other hand was again gripped by a certain stubborn oaf.
Without listening to her he once again dragged her with him.
Sigh, what should I do with this man.
Her hand holding the handle of the suitcase slipped in between of her being dragged, which also made her to apply breaks.
When laurain didn't budged from her place, tom turned around he was really serious this time.
"I will take you with me even if i have to carry you on my shoulder, if you don't listen I will tell everyone that you Mr. Morgan's daughter is my legal wife" he gritted out, he was really very pissed right now.
Laurain looked at his hand grabbing her wrist and then looked in his eyes.
"Fine"
"Huh"
"Fine, let me just take my suitcase" she pointed behind her.
Her small suitcase again standing alone.
He didn't left her hand even when they went to take her luggage.
They went to the counter,
"Give me your identity card" tom said.
"What about passport?"
"Do you have that?"
Laurain nodded
"Then give it to me"
Laurain handed her identity card and passport to him.
But who would have thought that she had made a big mistake.
