Chapter 2 *Xavier

I was at the middle of the forest in my wolf form and the moon shines above me. I look around the forest and there was no one else but me. I then suddenly heard echoes around the forest.

Find me! A woman’s voice echoes throughout the forest.

I run through the forest looking for the voice that echoes around me.

Find me, don’t stop. The voice echoes again making me anxious.

I run faster but when I look ahead, I saw a figure, so I slowed down. I’m facing the persons back, so I have no idea what she looked like. But she is curvy, has a milky white skin, and a silver hair that reaches to her butt. She’s wearing a white dress and wears a gladiator shoes.

Please come find me, don’t give up. I want you as much as you do. She says before starting to run straight to the forest and I quickly followed her. I whimpered as I can’t see her anymore, I had to run faster but I’m still struggling to reach her.

Wait…. wait for me…. wait! My wolf howled.

I jerk up in a sitting position and my body was soaked in sweat and my heart is pounding too much out of my chest.

What was that? I asked my Danger.

It’s mate, she’s calling for us. She’s nearby. My wolf’s cheered as he wiggles and runs around my head which makes me stood up in bed getting excited to look for her but then stop not wanting to do that.

Why? I want mate, look for mate. Danger says whimpering then growling.

No bud, not this time.

But I want mate, I long for a mate for a long time.

I know bud and we have both been searching for her for a long time. If you say she’s nearby, then we let the moon goddess led her to us. I want to meet our mate properly not by searching for her.

I could feel Danger trying to take over, so I took a deep breath trying to control myself. After I was done controlling my wolf I stood out of my bed and head to the bathroom to have a quick shower.

I dried up and wrapped the towel around my waist and got out the bathroom. I head to my closet and put on my plain white shirt, black jacket, black jeans, and shoes. I walked out my room then head downstairs to the dining room.

When I got down and head straight to the dining room, I saw some of my packs are already having their breakfast including Xena, Jack, and Jana. They all bowed when they felt my presence in the room. And I sat to my seat which is at the head of the table. Then an Omega then placed a plate filed with food in front of me. I grabbed a spoon and fork that was placed on the side of the plate and dig in.

How are you brother? Xena asked.

I just groaned at her knowing what I meant.

That bad huh. I’m sure you will find her someday.

I just nod, not telling her what happen to me and my wolf this morning or else she won’t stop bothering me until I find my mate.

Oh right, before I forget me, and Jana will be at the new neighbors house. She says while she wipes Jana’s face.

I already post some warriors not near to their house, no need for you to worry if a rouge might go to their place.

After that I then finished my breakfast and head straight to my office where I find a six-inch stack of paperwork.

Great! Now I must finish this all up before noon.

There’s no way you could finish that up by noon time. Danger then says with a little laugh.

Then I might as well let you take control me then and finished this all up.

No can do. He says before shutting himself.

Shaking my head, I then sat in my chair and opened my laptop and continue what I had left off yesterday.

After a couple of hours, I stopped typing when I heard a knock at my door.

Come in. I just ordered knowing it was just the Omega as I smelled her scent coming to my office before, she had knocked my door.

Being a werewolf, you can have Superhuman Agility, Endurance, Senses, Speed and Strength. And along with Night Vision, Fast Healing and most of all Immortality but for an Alpha it is much 10 times more than a normal werewolf.

Alpha. The Omega then bowed as she came inside holding a tray with a plate of food in it.

She then walked inside my office carefully placing the food in the coffee table. I look at the watch that is around my wrist and its already noon.

The Omega then leaves but not before bowing to me as a sign of respect.

I then looked the stock of papers which is I did not realize that it is already gone. I got up, stretching a bit then ate my lunch.

After I ate, I left my office then walked around my territory visiting each of the buildings that we have built which is the orphanage, schools, and others. Asking each of the members about any news or changes especially the orphanage there are so many pups that had no parents because of the attacked that we have dealt with 10 years ago, while the others are coming here because of new rouge attacks that have been recently going.

I then saw Mark approaches me as I stood up at the entrance of the training hall watching the pack members as they train. Mark is my Head Warrior and same as me he still hasn’t found his mate.

Good afternoon Alpha. Mark greets me and slightly bowed.

How is the training?

So far so good Alpha. The pack warriors had already trains some for the packs teenagers and other adults who wished to learn more to protect themselves from danger and want to fight harder. Soon they can help protect the younger pups, elders, and pregnant women.

How about the women and other Omegas?

The Lady warriors had already trained with them for a couple of months now Alpha. And they have been progressing a lot.

With a nod he proceeded to train with the warriors, and I continued my routine. And after I finished, I walked back to the packhouse and to my office, then lay down to my couch, taking a nap.

I don’t know how long I have been sleeping, I have woken up because someone or a little rascal I might say, had just bounce on top of me. Looking at Jana she giggles of my reaction and we both sat up.

Look Uncle, Miss Raelin gave me one of her upper arm bracelets when she was little. She says in excitement.

I look at it and it’s a silver and clear crystal floral. Thankfully it’s not a true silver, silver is deadly to us werewolf.

It’s beautiful Jana did you thank her?

Yes Uncle! You must meet her, she’s so beautiful.

Maybe someday Princess.

Okay. Then she yawned as I lift her up, she must have been worked hard this morning as she is already sleeping in my arms as I carry her upstairs to her bedroom luckily Xena already change her to her nightclothes so it would not have a problem.

After tacking her to her bed I almost forgot to remove the bracelet she had been wearing, as I removed it to her arms and putting it to her bedside table, I don’t know what happened, but the bracelet quickly lights up and that light flew to my chest, and I felt warm.

MATE! Danger quickly growled out and taking advantage of my shocked expression he quickly took over and run towards the window and jump out shifting midair.

With a thud Danger sprint out then runs towards the south where the new neighbors are located.

As we now nearing our location Danger slows down as we caught scents of a couple of humans coming out of a big house. I can sense my warriors coming towards me but as they saw me they quickly bowed then leave as they saw fear my wolf. Which Danger does not mind he is more than finding his mate than to care for his members feelings.

Before something will happen, I quickly took back control not caring for my wolf’s complains and run again towards the packhouse not looking back. As I run, I howled for my mate even though I did not see her, and if even though she’s nearby I knew she would hear my howl even though she might not understand.
