Hello, shady readers! My name is Gab, and I am thrilled to share my work here with you.

Before we dive into this adventure, I should warn you: this will be a lengthy novel. When I was first writing this story, it got up to over 300K words before I decided to change direction, pull it from its two platforms, and make a full revision before republishing. At present, (9/19/22), I'm about 1/4 of the way through those changes and I'm loving what I've done with it so far.

This second draft promises to give you a twisty tale that will keep you on the edge of your seat — with the promise of the steamy scenes I know you all love — but there will be plot and timeline changes, both major and minor. So, if, by chance, you happen to have been reading this story previously, wipe your slate clean and mentally prepare yourself for that. Treat it like a new story, if you will.

As I stated previously, one day I hope to have this work published in print, so I (like most authors) have beta readers who've been giving me extremely helpful feedback as I post here. And what's wonderful about that is that they don't just offer grammatical suggestions, but insight to the story and where I've taken it so far. Any published author will tell you that there have been times they've churned out a couple of chapters before saying, "Ya know, I don't like where this is going. I'm going back and change this and that," and that's not a big deal. It's 100% part of the usual writing process.

That's particularly difficult to do on apps like this, where people may have already read what you've written and posted. But I know I wouldn't be doing this story or its characters justice if I didn't make the revisions that were calling to me. This is why we love our beta readers; they help us determine what changes we can make to improve our writing and storylines!

All that to say, thank you for giving the second-draft of this story a chance! Please bear in mind that, rather than post daily, I will be sharing 2 to 3 chapters at least twice a week as they are edited to completion. I so look forward to your comments in between. They mean the world to me!
