I spot Haley and Kim sitting together. I scan the room.
Hades and his friends are seated with the other guys from the rugby team and the cheerleaders sit with them, or rather on them.
I snicker.
Straightening my back, I head over to our table. Heads turn to watch me. I am so used to their steers it does not bother me anymore. The mix of admiration, jealousy and loathing.
Like always I ignore it all. It is all like noise in the back of my head.
Kim spots me and waves me over.
I giggle.
I wave back. I can see you.
I reach there and plop on the chair.
A bowl of lukewarm pasta and red sauce topped with four large meatballs sits on her food. Kim has pasta and mayonnaise in front her with two bacon wrapped honey roasted sausages. Now, those actually look delicious.
