“Omg, can you guys believe that, with all that has been going on, I forgot that I have practice throughout this week, starting from tomorrow till next week Monday.” She gushes happily.
The light seeps back into her eyes again, and I sigh in relief at the change of topic. Kim's ears perks up and she leans forward.
“Why? Tryouts are on Monday?” Kim asks.
“Yes, Emily said, if you want to join the team for the new year you have to show commitment by attending all the practices for the week and showing off your skills before the tryouts,” She explains.
“They will be there watching us every second, picking the best dancers for the next set of Hale angels.” She gushes.
“Aren’t you just jolly?” I speak. It comes out in a drier tone than I intended. Haley raises an eyebrow, giving me a look.
