MCNAMARA MONITORED Thompson through the window of the interrogation room. The man seemed confident.
He was convinced they brought him in for questioning because of the crimes on Nightingale Street. Clearly, Thompson didn’t have a direct connection to them.
Yet, the connection existed. Thompson had taught blackmail tactics to the girls and that was the reason for their deaths.
“We’ll leave him here for a while. Maybe an hour or two. He’ll lose some of that confidence,” McNamara said to his people.
