Drathis chuckled heading towards the bath, “Relax will you, she was teasing you, knowing she would get a kick out of it.”
“Why though?” She followed him behind the screen divider.
“Why not? In her old age perhaps, she has seen enough to know the signs.” He pulled off his coat hanging it over the wooden screen.
“The signs? What signs? You didn’t even say anything, didn’t even deny we were together, that’s probably why she thought she saw signs.” She snapped at him.
“I’m honestly too tired to entertain an innkeeper and her games. Who cares if she thinks we are or are not together? It’s not as if we will see her ever again once we leave here.” He sighed beginning to run the bath taking his shirt off.
