Mia stared at Ryan in shock. This was the most awkward situation she'd ever been in and yet she found herself unable to move.
She took a leap of faith and gazed into Ryan's eyes....the most gentle look welcomed her.

Mia tried to get up after realizing how intense things were. She felt a sharp pain in her ankle, making her lose balance. Ryan's arms wrapped around her waist tightly to steady her.
