Goddess Luna known for her wisdom, devotion, and loyalty. kind and gentle guardian, unless provoked enough for her blood stain claws to rip you to pieces. she gifted her children with shapshifting ability. human and wolf, she increased there strength, gave them rapid healing ability and devotion to the pack. she gave them true mates and instilled core values of loyalty and family above everything. Night vision allowing them to run and hunt under her moonlight. In Lunas' mind, strength came from family,love, and numbers, wolfs had structured packs every one had a place. Be it Alpha, Beta, Gamma, or Delta each had its place with in the pack. Alphas lead, Betas assist, Gammas were warriors Deltas the builders. One could not exist without the8 others. all important in a unique way. A true Alpha protected his or her pack, was devoted to ensuring each and every wolf under their protection was looked after, needs met, and happy. Alphas strength came direct from the pack bonds. the larger and happier the pack, the stronger the Alpha became. Ranked wolfs like that of the Alpha,Betas, and Gammas had strong instinct to protect the Deltas. Ranked wolfs were true born warriors they were ,faster and more agile wolfs. Delta wolfs were the healers, builders, and workers. they made a pack a home without them. There was nothing for the ranked wolfs to protect. As time passed Luna the Moon goddess became nothing but story. The wolfs faught among themselves for position taking advantage of weaker Deltas. Ranked wolfs declared themselves better because they were stronger and treated Deltas like servants. Alphas became crouptted by greed and power. they forced Deltas to swear loyalty commanded with fear not love. the once great pack the Goddess created split into main smaller ones. waring over territory. killing for sport they lost their way. Between fighting one another, dragons and Sirens there numbers dropped. Deltas grew weaker skills lost over time as they became victims to ruthless Alphas greed. ranked wolfs grew smaller and slower, becoming lazy over time. the packs began to fall apart. weakness running rampant. mates could no longer sence one another. the once strong, proud packs crumbling to dust. The Goddess weeped for her children that had lost their way. Luna wasn't the only one her siblings children also suffered greatly and had become just as corrupted. Over the decades of neglect Lunas powers has slowly been drained once the proud all powerfull Goddess of the Moon was now just a forgotten myth. Luna had become so weak trapped in her moon. she could only watch and weep for her children. Luna watched her last few believers running to escape the mad alphas territory. they refused to bow to him. refused to renounce the Goddess Luna they still believed in the old story's, he was not all powerful, he was given a gift, now he was not worthy of it. POV: Crystal I ran for what felt like years. stopping only when I was close to collapsing, two weeks of hiding,running, repeat. when the alphas had decided he wanted me there wasn't anything I could do. deltas were nothing more then a slave in the pack. even though i clung to my grandmother's story's of the old ways passed down through my family over the decades. how the first packs lived in balance rank and delta. working as one. I prayed still to the Moon goddess to save me. they went unanswered, the alpha took what he wanted declared me his. I served him, did my duty as best I could to avoid the beatings. it was never good enough. I was close to giving up, taking my life, I was done. it was only when I heard the faint thump thump along side my own heartbeat that I knew. I knew my child was not going to be raised like this, to suffer. worse become another blood thirsty greedy Alpha. So I ran. with out second thought I ran. I remembered my grandmother story of the pack deep in the forbidden forest. I had to try for the sake of my baby. they followed the old ways they avoid all other packs and outsiders. Those that attempted to enter there territory by force have never been seen or heard from again. I have to hope this will not be the case for me. I reached the boundary line, drop to my knees from exhaustion, I can hear the warriors still chasing me. I don't have long before they will arrive. "SANTUARARY PLEASE I MEAN NO HARM, SANTUARARY I BEG" I shout n scream with everything I have left. on my knees praying and hoping they are real. the warriors pounding fert grow closer and closer. they are few feet away now. times up, I close my eyes awaiting my final breath holding my belly knowing I failed him brakes my heart. "I tied bean, I tried please forgive me. this world didn't deserve you" tears stream down my cheeks as I cradle my belly softly. I hear the warriors coming up behind me the sound off sword been drawn. I take deep breath waiting to feel the cold steel plunge into my body. telling my unborn son I love you. whooshing of something fast shoots by both my ears followed by two large thumps. then silence. pure silence I can hear my heart beat, my breath my baby's heart beat. nothing else at all. minutes pass and nothing, it feels like time has just frozen.few more breaths I find the courage to open my eyes and look behind myself. two dead guards. arrow through each of there eyes. "Enter, SANTUARARY granted" deep voice calls from the tree line.
