Waking up Tuesday morning, I had a slight hangover but that wasn't anything new. Especially nowadays, it seems as if it's getting worse. I slept in the den last night cause I didn't want to be around Niyla. She really was pissing me off lately and honestly she was starting to be less and less attractive to me, she had put on some weight. She has never been a stick figure but now I just feel like she was letting herself go. Thick chicks were really never my type, but in the beginning, she attracted me on another level it wasn't so physical with her, the vibe was just there.

I grabbed my phone off the floor and seen it was just after 6 am, I decided to get up and shower so I could head to the gym. Walking into the bedroom to see a sleeping Niyla, I just stared at her for a moment. I was falling out of love with her by the day, I don't know how much longer I could stay in this relationship. I quickly grabbed some clothes out of the closet and my toothbrush out of the bathroom, I decided I was going to shower in the guest bathroom. Taking a quick shower and brushing my teeth I was done in about a half-hour. Grabbing my keys off the key hook I jumped in my car and headed to the gym.

Driving to the gym I was listening to some biggie to clear my head and get me in a better mood. The drive seemed to fly by and before I knew it I was pulling up to my parking spot. I liked to get to the gym early on Tuesdays so I could do the ordering for the week. Walking into the gym I said hello to the receptionist that was at the front desk and headed to my office on the second floor. Sitting at my desk I called the manager into my office so he could fill me in on anything that happened the night before along with letting me know everything I needed to order.

Looking at the time I realized it was now past lunch, I had been so busy with work I didn't even notice. I decided to get some fresh air and go for a walk and get some lunch. I checked my phone and seen that Niyla hadn't called or even texted me. Not that I cared but she usually texts me during the day.

Stuffing my phone into my pocket, I headed downstairs. Hey Erin I'm going to grab some lunch, if anyone needs me to ring them to my cell, please. I said to the receptionist as I walked out the front door. It was early September so It was a little cooler outside, and slightly gloomy. I was walking for about ten minutes when I remembered the reason I left in the first place was to get some food. I pulled out my phone, bringing up the yelp app to make the decision of which food to eat easier. I was so focused on my phone I didn't see the young women who were walking out of a clinic and we bumped right into each other.

"Oh my GOD, I am so sorry. I didn't even see you there." the woman said looking up at me Instantly recognizing her from i********: I smiled. It's okay I said, don't I know you from somewhere I said looking at her smooth chocolate skin. I couldn't help but notice her nicely toned body. She was thin with a nice athletic build, her jet black hair was in the cutest little bun sitting on the top of her head. She was so beautiful I thought to myself. " Umm I'm pretty sure we follow each other on i********:," she said laughing slightly. I'm Derrick I said extending my hand to shake hers. "I know." she said laughing "Kelsey," she said grabbing my hand and shaking it. Aye, I was just going to grab some food do you wanna join me. I said letting go of her hand. I don't know what came over me, or why I was being so forward but I took a chance. I hadn't been out with another girl in five years. " Yes sure, I'm actually starving," she said.

Kelsey and I walked and talked until we got to a hotdog stand, we both ordered and I paid. We found a bench to sit down at and ate and talked for over an hour. It was so easy to talk to her everything just flowed so smoothly. It was so nice for a change not arguing or yelling with a woman. I never did mention that I had a fiancé, but she told me she was single. After we finished eating and talking we walked farther down the street to a little park that had a little lake, we got some ice cream and just talked about everything. She was truly a breath of fresh air.

Feeling my phone vibrate, I pulled it out of my pocket seeing it was going on five and Niyla was calling, quickly sending it to voicemail. I can't believe we've been talking this long I said putting my phone back into my pocket. "Yeah I know, we should exchange numbers so we can do this again. I really enjoyed myself, Derrick, I haven't had this much fun in so long," she said laughing and blushing slightly. We exchanged numbers and headed back in the direction of the gym, she mentioned she was staying in a hotel but didn't mention why I didn't want to pry too much into her business. The hotel wasn't far from the gym so I walked her back to the hotel. We arrived after walking for only around ten minutes. Well, this was nice Kelsey. I said standing at the entrance of the hotel. " Yeah it really was, don't forget to use my number," she said. Not completely sure what came over me I leaned in and kissed her. Pecking her lips at first and then again, moving in closer pulling her tiny frame to mine. She put one of her hands on my chest deepening the kiss I slipped my tongue into her mouth. Moaning into my mouth she kissed back. Stepping away slightly, I'm sorry I said rubbing the back of my neck with my hand. "No it's okay, It really is," she said walking up the steps to the hotel. With that she disappeared into the hotel, leaving me completely speechless.

I had never cheated on A'Niyla, no matter how angry I've gotten. I may have flirted here and there with random broads but never cheated. But strangely enough, I didn't feel guilty not even a little. Sticking my hands in my pockets I headed back to the gym. The whole walk to the gym I was on cloud nine, I couldn't get Kelsey off my mind. I already was wondering what she was doing and I just left her five minutes ago. 

Fifteen minutes later I was walking back into the gym, Heading to my office. Sitting down at my desk I pulled my phone out of my pocket, seeing a text from Niyla I opened it to see what she said.

A'Niyla - Hey I tried calling but it went to VM. I was just calling to say I'm going to be home really late tonight. I have a new client and I'm starting on the project today. 

Me- Whatever..

She was just texting me to say she wasn't going to be home till late, and it just pissed me off. All she ever did was work. That's one of the reasons I've started to lose interest. Putting her to the back of my mind I decided to get some work done. I worked for another four hours. It was just going on nine-thirty when I was done. Locking up my office I jumped in my car to head home, before I started driving I sent a quick text to Kelsey, just to let her know I had a really good time today.......
