A'Niyla and Dave were both under the impression that they would be meeting each other's assistant, walking back to the table Niyla was confused yet interested in why this man was sitting at her table while Dave was completely mesmerized by Niyla's big beautiful brown eyes. He knew from that moment that he had to get to know her. Out of all the women he's ever come in contact with Niyla is the only one who had made him feel like he needs to get to know them, typically women throw themselves at Dave. Something about her was different, at this moment she seemed shy and unsure of herself, but looking into her eyes he could tell she had a story.

Standing at the table I was so nervous, all of the confidence I felt in the restroom had now dissipated. Seconds seemed like minutes as we stared at each other. Breaking the silence I began to talk again. Maybe you have the wrong table I said taking my seat at the table. " Nah I have the right table, A'Niyla Davis right?" He said taking a drink from his cup that sat in front of him. Everything about this man was confident, his presence demanded attention. He made me feel happy, nervous, and intrigued all at the same moment. 

" I thought I was meeting your assistant today?" Dave continued on. 

I am here in her place today, I also assumed I was meeting your assistant. I said placing my napkin on my lap. 

" She couldn't attend today cause she was sick as hell, I really need my crib decorated or else I wouldn't be here. Trust me." He said leaning back in his chair slightly. I don't typically do first appointments Mr. East, but tell me exactly what it is you need, a time frame, and a budget. I said grabbing my notebook out of my bag. 

Dave laughed slightly "Straight to business, I like that. But ah I just purchased a home in Alpine NJ, and the whole house needs to be decorated. The budget is pretty much unlimited, as for the time frame. I need it completed in two months and call me Dave." He said smoothly

Looking up from my notepad, I got an intense feeling looking into his eyes. But that quickly went away when he said Alpine and two months. How big is the home Mr. Ea.. sorry Dave? I don't typically take on projects so far away considering I like to be at the location as much as possible. " It's 25,700 square feet," Dave said staring into my damn soul. You expect me to get that done in two months? I questioned. 

Two months may seem like a long time but when you are doing a home of that size it usually takes up to five months depending on how customized the client wants it.

Dave and I continued talking about the project for the next hour, with him finally convincing me to take on the project. I wanted to get a feel for his style so we went over a few design ideas and options for things. His taste was amazing we agreed on almost everything. 

After leaving here I planned on running to the mall to grab Kelsey a few things and a few furniture stores to start placing orders for his house. 

He seemed to let his guard down a little, we actually laughed a lot. He is surprisingly funny. 

Okay, Dave, I think I have everything I need from you, I'm going to start purchasing things today from the pictures you've shown me of the house, but I am going to need to see the house soon so I can get a better idea of the layout. Considering it is kinda far we will have to work it into my schedule. 

" Can I come with you to do the shopping?" He said Completely taking me by surprise. Well um, I'm just running to the mall and a few furniture stores, my clients don't usually come with me. I said putting my phone and notepad in my bag. 

" I'm not a typical client ma, you should prolly know that now," he said licking his thick pink lips.

Something came over me, and I said yes. Uh yeah, you can come. Do you wanna meet there or drive together? I questioned getting up from the table. "We can ride together if that's coo wit you, I ain't got s**t else to do for the rest of the day. I'm all yours shorty" He said standing extremely close to me. Inhaling his scent made me forget this was business. 

Dave, please stop calling me ma and shorty I have a fiancé and I don't think it's appropriate. I don't mix business and pleasure. I said shocking myself. He was as calm as ever placing his hand on the small of my back as he guided me out of the restaurant. " okay, I apologize." Was all he said. 

While we waited for the valet to bring his car around I got slightly uncomfortable being out in public so close to this man I hardly knew, got forbid anyone seen me out with him, and told Derrick. Granted we weren't doing anything wrong, Derrick was always extreme when it came to other men being around me.

Dave's car was finally being brought out, the valet pulled up getting out of the car. Dave opened the passenger door and I slid in setting my bag on the floor between my feet. Tipping the valet a hundred dollars Dave got in and headed in the direction of the mall.
